Thanks for the support, you lot are a nice bunch.

think I will stick to this board for a while and concentrate on getting myself sorted and anyone who joins us on the good ship DMP.

Hi i owe them £4182 squiddlys, just about to post on the main board to see if anyone has had any luck with F&F's. I'm not holding out much hope as i've not defaulted with them, but had a look through my credit reports eeeeek!!:eek: and they have put the big red AP on them ( arrangement to pay) no harm in asking though. I'm going to go down the route that it would take me another 2 yrs of my current payment £36.47pppppp to make my 20% settlement, might be able to push to 25 if they give me a bit more time.

Hopeing him upstairs is having a look down and smiling lol!:A

Hi Gabriella. Good luck with Barclays. By the way, with everything that's happened to me recently, I know he's looking down on me so he must definitely be looking down on you.

What's not to like about your offer? Anyway, if you don't ask, you don't get in my opinion so go for it. We're all behind you and if it works we'll all be looking to YOU for advice:)

By the way guys, I just got some good news yesterday. I know .... mad. I went for an interview with the BBC .... and I got the job!! Its contracted until April 2011 but at least it will take me over Christmas and its more money than I'm on now. You wanna know the best part? They want me to start Monday.

Gabrielle, that's how I know he's looking down on me. Who wouldn't want a way into such a company. I feel like a weight's been lifted off my shoulders - albeit temporarily. Now I've just got to convince them to keep me. hey - maybe I'll even have some extra money to go towards my secret stash for F&F:j

Me i'm ironing. Have a few semi regular customers and am stashing the money away. Not much but it makes me feel better. Still loving having our heads out of the sand. Just need to get our nemisis (sp)Nat West on board.

E2 sorry you're having hassle. Haven't had the opportunity to pop over to look at the silly chat but I'm with the others and behind you all the way.

I have the same with CCS, I was told not to worry about it until it's nearing the end of the plan! Grrrr, not entirely happy with that, still mulling it over. It does say current estimated balance so am keeping my own too. Legally we are entitled to a statement once a year from each preditor so hoping to reconcile then.

On the up side has anyone tried thinking about life after DMP and having plans? I've been twiddling with the mortgage calculator on this site. If once my DMP is paid I then overpay the mortgage by the amount I have been investing in the DMP I can pay my mortgage off a whacking 13 years ahead of schedule. How's that for a motivator folks, go try it!
