Hello
Going through the expenditure forms. A question, why do they ask for the partners income when all the debt is mine and I am the one to repay it?
As I understand it, its because they consider that any debt would have benefitted the whole household irrespective of whose name its in.
We are in the same postion as only the overdraft is in joint names but all family income is taken into account.DMP mutual support member 3970 -
Hi
With my CCCS DMP my wifes income wasn't taken into account at all, she is treated seperatley. Her expenditure is ignored for DMP purposes.
Which is handy.I'm Debt Free :j 2/09/2013

Afternoon everybody, i've absolutely nothing to report but feeling in a good mood today. Various statements from my creditors all showing the debt going down and they are all below my old credit limits now (which they haven't been for a long long time), which is good. Even my overdraft is below the old limit.
Going down, going down, going down!I'm Debt Free :j 2/09/2013

Afternoon all!
Seems all quiet on the debt free paddling front.... would like to pick your brains if possible. I have been very lucky to finally get my tax code changed which means i'm due a rebate!!!:T
This rebate = 20% of one of my credit cards do you think i should be cheeky and drop them a letter making a F&F offer. The 20% actually = 2 yrs of my current payment to them at the mo. So they'd get rid of me quick i guess. By the way its with Barclaycard:eek:
What do you think guys worth a shot??

Hello everyone, hope you haven't all forgotten me!!!! I am a very bad paddler. Sorry.
To be honest things have been running smoothly for me so I am just getting on with things and enjoying life again and trying not to dwell on the whole situation. (hope Im not being too laid back about it all).
Anyway just wanted to ask everyones opinion, got a call from CITI who claim they still never got any info from cccs, (funny that they were sent it twice and everyone else got it 1st time) anyway they then told me they could accept a payment of £24 a month for the next 5 years and then they would write off the remaining debt after that time, has anyone else been offered this and what did you do or can anyone give me some advice?????
Thanks hope you are all well and thing are good for you all.LBM - March 2010Paddle no. 15 :j0 -

Every so often I get a letter, Pay plan say ignore them and so we carry on but other than that, like you, the DMP seems okay. Just wish I'd done it sooner it feels "responsible" to think before I buy anything now or maybe "sensible" is the word. Whatever it is good.:T:j:beer:Paddle No 21 :wave:0
