Hi Triggles, yes I'm hoping that things will settle down now as from the letters that we are receiving everyone obviously now knows that we are entering a DMP.

You are right that doing this does make you feel more in control, even though I've been stressed over the last few weeks its still nothing compared to the stress that we were under when we were trying to meet all the payments. We have more money now (which still feels weird) but thats because we are working within our budget.

Christmas is starting to appear on my radar too:eek: I want to be organised and have all of my presents bought in plenty of time:)

Wow, I'm soooo tempted to go down that route with mine, but daren't take the plunge, I only thought of doing it because there's a couple of them being a right royal pain in the @ss and refusing to stop interest, LLoyds TSB to name one, had the card since around 2000. Have you doen this or own or is anyone helping?

Sorry for being nosey, just really interested in how it really works, have read loads on here already on Niddys old thread.
  • Niddy helps on his new thread, and one of mine is Lloyds and they sent me a pile (about half a tree) of rubbish!!!

  • Thanks PDD (always think of Pdiddy when I type that :rotfl:) would be really interested to find out how you get on, how long does it take to find out whether it really is enforcable or not?
  • Will keep you posted Newbeginning, takes a wee while, so nothing immediate as yet.

tedsd - we are paying on those that are enforceable, but not on those that are not. And at the moment, 2 other creditors have put our accounts on hold until they can locate our CCA, so we're not paying them until they find it. They've had the requests for over a month at present. So we'll see what happens.

Hello All - Hope you are all well. Nothing much happening on the DMP front, all quiet at the moment (long may it last). Had a panic at the weekend when I went for my food shop and my coop cashminder card was declined. Had a massive panic as I knew there was enough cash available problem seemed to be with the cashback once it was removed the card was okay. Total amount including cashback was £50 £20 was the cashback amount. Walked to cashpoint and got the money out okay. Rang bank they didnt know why the card has been declined. So now I'm thinking of only paying in cash. What a trauma has anyone else had this problem?
