    Hello all!

crikey has it really been that long since i last posted? i guess life has been getting in the way!

had a letter from cccs today asking me to ring them for my 3 month review! Im a bit nervous but im trying so hard to make the budget work.

all my creditors seem to be working with me and have gone quiet, appart from Aqua, who keep saying they havent recieved anything! budget is tight and need to get car serviced next week so panicking a bit!

    hope you are all well.

    hello to the newbies :)

Hi Regret - good to know life's getting in the way - sounds very positive as do most of your creditors. I'm with you on the tight budget...we don't seem to be getting any better! Will try harder! CCCS thought we really needed to drop our payment when we had our review - at about 4 1/2 months?! Had to go through all the figures- even though everything was the same. Don't feel nervous about it! Hope the car goes through its service well! x

Ellie - how are you and OH doing today? Hope today's better and the phone's quiet...if its not have a treat and pull the plug! The phone calls will get better soon - honestly, but it is tough dealing with them, answering the same questions over and over to the same creditors day after day..especially when some are so blatently rude and intimidating. Some were lovely on the phone though - hope you get some of them. x

Ted :grouphug:dodgy hugs for the support yesterday ! I'm really rubbish - on many counts - but seem to be bad at the dealing with the dmp debt stress. Still manifesting stress related symptoms - messed up head...Think its probably worse because no one else knows. Anyway did as instructed - ordered free shampoo and as futher proof of my rubbishness - never been to the freebie board before!
Anyway just thanks for being there and hugs xx

  • Thanks for the welcome guys. Car went in for its mot and service today and I had the £135 to pay for it from not paying credit cards this month but thats it now, no more money till payday

The problem I have now is that although it passed the mot it only just passed and my two front tyres are very nearly illegal, so need replacing asap! My front disc and pads and rear shoes cylinders also need replacing so I guess im looking at about £300 or something, which surprise surprise I don't have!!

I would have just banged it on the cc but cant anymore as the one with £400 on it has been blocked until I make the minimum payment which is now £356 and I can't use it anyway as almost on dmp lol.

I actually feel better now having wrote it out :) Looks like im going to have to start selling some stuff. I have about £45 in change in a tin so will have to break into that and my sister owes me some money and she has a job now so [STRIKE]may[/STRIKE] will have to ask her to start paying me back. Ill do a payment plan for her :D

I really felt like crying before but feel ok now (im male btw and we all know men don't cry ;))

Hi mamjojo, thanks for asking:T Today has been better from a phone perspective, I think that we have only had 2 calls so far. We've received our pack from CCCS saying that they have written to all our creditors with proposal for payment, maybe this is having an impact on the phones?

On the whole having a better day... onwards and upwards:)

Hi regret - we didn't drop ours either for the same reason! Hope your £20 goes a long way - that's all we've got too and we've family visiting so we've to feed them as well!!! That'll be beans all round then ( I managed to get the tesco value ones under dd's bean radar next target dh!)
