hi everyone sorry to hear some of you are having a bad time of it, i really am dreading the phonecalls bit!
i have taken a template letter from here for sending the token payments that also asks them to contact you in writing only so fingers crossed that might help too.
my hubby has given his employers our new bank details and they assured him it should all go through fine and on time i so hope they don't mess it up.
do you all pay cccs by dd from your new account or is anyone paying it from the post office? if so can i ask how much this transcash fee is please?
  • OK peeps calm down, what is the worst they can do???? Its only money!!! Mama I am so sorry missed your birthday, I hope you chilled and relaxed. Worrying about creditors is not worth your time. Ellie don't cry, they are definitely NOT WORTH your tears. I am looking at the UE and I am totally astounded at the amount of sheer lies, misrepresentations, and absolute drivel they have sent back!!! no actual enforceable agreements so far!!!!

So chins up peeps, it is only money and money doesn't work for a lot of things, family, loved pets, great friends, they are all more or less free!!!

Please cheer up and just don't answer the phone if it annoys you!!!!

  • Morning everyone, hope that you are all o.k. and welcome to all the newbies:)

My DMP is due to start on 1st Sept via CCCS but I believe that this is not divied up to the preditors until the 25th of the month, as most of our CC's are due around 1st do I send another token payment to each one?

    Ellie xx

Ellie, under no circumstances pay anything after you have paid the CCCS, otherwise your creditors could question the amount you are paying, ie, tokens on top of the monthly payment means you could pay more.
As has been said, if they hassle you just quote your ref no. and state the fact that a payment has been paid to the CCCS.
If you are brave, you could ring each creditor and explain that this is why no payments will be made until the 25th, I did this and all my creditors were fine.
In any event, try not to worry, it really does calm down after you have made 2 or 3 payments. PP

Hi ljm23k, I'm well impressed re the butterfly!

Regret, mini panic here at a 3 month review, i was hoping for 6 months  Crikey, they're on the ball!

oh no should i be worried?

i certainly cant pay anymore and only three months in really has only just given me time to get things onto an even keel i cant really think about over payment or anything.

Thanks Tedsd for the link and thanks to everyone for your advice, we just had a horrible day yesterday and the phone calls just compound things. One of the worst offenders is Santander and to think a few weeks ago I was questioning my actions because of "loyalty" to them.

    Thanks

:j:j The butterfly has hatched overnight!!!!

Doesn't appear to be a red admiral afterall, its totally dark underneath so more likely a peacock. Just waiting for it to open its wings to see for sure. So far, just twitching its proboscis in response to a sprig of liatris!!

See? the best things in life are free! (or else Ive gone mad:rotfl::rotfl:)
