    morning all

i had a letter from Wonga PD loans on friday DEMANDING i pay my arrears by 12pm on 7th. i rang them however no answer, left a message.

rang again saturday, still no answer left 4 messages. everyday i get an email from them telling me i have missed their payment, i had an email from them in may advising that they accepted i was going to enter onto a dmp and they will wait for cccs to contact them, but they havent every bloomin' day ive had an email from them, so now i have taken to sending them the same email back to every email i recieve, some days on the hour every hour ;) thought they might get the message haha. i still have had no response and i rang again this morning as it was approaching the 12pm deadline. finally spoke to a man who advised me he had not heard from cccs (bit concerned as all my creditors have said that bar natwest!). i said the offer was £5 which he said they wouldnt accept, they could ony accept £30 a month as they cant do arrangements over a year. i offered to make this arrangement up but he said he couldnt yet as i couldnt make my first payment until 1st july. so he advised me to ring back in 2 weeks to arrange it. i said what about the deadline of today and he said 'oh dont worry its just to scare you'.

anyway just wondering, is it okay to set up an arrangement outside of my dmp? it seems like the best options as i want to get rid of the payday loans as my first priority!

    sorrry for the rant.

hope your all well. like the sound of liquid sunshine!! xx

    Afternoon all!

Gibbs/Julie It is me dealing with dreaded HSBC, although I've heard nothing since their original loan letter (which I ignored on advice on CCCS). HOWEVER, Gibbs, I got it around the same time as you, so I'm guessing a letter is winging it's way to me now. I shall use your reponse of 'please do' when the offer DCA...;)

Still no statement from CapOne, which is unsettling me for some reason, not sure why. Will give CCCS a call this week and see how the land lies...

Some good news, BF and I have the first thing for our new flat (which we haven't found yet!!) a shiny new 32" Sony TV....AND it was FREE!! BFs parents got it free when they upgraded their mobile phones...I know, !!!!!!? So pleased :j

All I need now is a bean bag and I'm all set!! :rotfl:

Thanks Teddy, thats what I keep thinking!!

I can't believe I forgot to tell you guys, but I've contacted PayPlan....reality hit with a rather enormous bang on Sunday morning that there just aren't enough hours in the day to be wife, mother, student, dog walker, cleaner, financial controller, mediator, chip shop skivvy etc etc so I'm delegating :D. Have just spoken to the dude for the initial telephone thingy and have an appointment for tomorrow morning for the in detail one! Feel so relieved, but also like I've gone back to the beginning - but I figure, I've done a load of the hard work for them and have already got a new bank account etc etc so with any luck that should speed up the process!!

    *Phew!*

Your little green light's on True?! How's that studying going - I'd have loved to do psychology but found the grindstone very easy to ignore so didnt get the grades!
Good delegation plan, let them use their clout for you and take a whole mountain of pressure off you:D You're so no where near the beginning...you'll be up and running in no time now hun!:T:T:T:T

Hi Anna, mine's standing at 16 years  so it'll be like walking through treacle... guess at the moment it doesn't matter to you if it's 16 or 2 years, it's just hard at the moment? But, Hey, in 2 years time you'll be :j and writing words of encouragement for the rest of us!

Hi Tedsd, you've hit the nail on the head there. It doesn't matter how long the dmp is its still hard.

    Good morning everyone!

Only 3 full weeks of school left over here in NI and then I'll be free from home ed for 9 weeks, although we don't have to stick to term time, it's nice to have official holidays. We've bought almost everything we need for September, so budget is looking good!

Dmp is the same, I haven't contacted Next yet but will do tomorrow. My only prob at the moment is that I'm still spending any surplus cash like before. Any tips how to change ones spendaholic ways? I would love to save for F&Fs and was doing well the first month but there always seems to be something we "need" I have changed the amount of spending and the shops I choose, but I worry that even if when I am debt free, I will still spend every penny. I want to learn how to save, HELP!!
Am of no help other than to say when you find the answer tell me please!!! Think of the positive changes though...we are doing well!

You are having a tough time with them Regret:grouphug:but at least the bloke on the phone was honest enough to saythe deadline is a scare tactic - mindgames!
I don't think it is ok to set up an arrangement outside dmp - everyone has to be treated the same...I can't remember who you are with - but I'd phone and see what they say. Remember they can't have what you haven't got and they will take the £5 no matter what!
