    Fab post Ted - you're very good:money:
    Washing Machine:D
MOT:(but in process of being sorted and hopefully will crawl through at the end of the week...we will see!
Not got a clue re contractual payments...ours seem to be proportionally representative - apart from the low ones who get a fiver and thats a lot compared to the others- I presumed £5 was the lowest payment. Sorry no help!
Next continue to send red statements, dates dont tie in - strange calculations all over them but the basic amount is going down and so I'm not worrying. They did say to me cccs send them one cheque and they've to share it out between the huge number of our fellow dmpers...it took a good while for the cccs payment to show on the statement even.

    How are you feeling?
A bit is that it! now?
Well hope uniform is located and you have an uneventful start to the school week - we've another week off here:eek:

Hi Mama, thanks re the post, for a moment I thought I was competing with True and writing an essay it got so long!

Fingers crossed for you, hope the car gets through. :D re the washing machine! The £5 minimum seems to be right as I have two on £5 but no one on less. I'm fine now thanks.. school uniforms all set out, butty boxes too!

Gosh, didn't realise you have 2 weeks off!!! Anything planned? - harder I know without the old CCs...
Nothing planned - no car, no public transport so walks and garden but don't think the weather looks good so paint and mess and stir crazy! The training days are all lumped together at dd's school so good for those with enough dosh to go away the week either side of half term! I'll no doubt keep popping on here and be going :eek::eek:

Can someone explain how contractual payments are worked out? My payment to Crap One is almost the same as the minimum but the others are way below...???

Heylo lovely - they work the payments out pro-rata which means they take the amount of the individual debt then multiply it by your monthly surplus and then divide it by the total amount owed. Hope that helps! :)

Studying is not going well, am unfortunately ridiculously bored of social sciences, but its just a hoop I have to jump through before I can get my teeth into the psychology!

Oh well, deadline is tomorrow so am off to stick my nose back at the grindstone today :(

Will catch up properly later/tomorrow, hope everyone had a lovely weekend :D xx

Thanks Teddy, thats what I keep thinking!!

I can't believe I forgot to tell you guys, but I've contacted PayPlan....reality hit with a rather enormous bang on Sunday morning that there just aren't enough hours in the day to be wife, mother, student, dog walker, cleaner, financial controller, mediator, chip shop skivvy etc etc so I'm delegating :D. Have just spoken to the dude for the initial telephone thingy and have an appointment for tomorrow morning for the in detail one! Feel so relieved, but also like I've gone back to the beginning - but I figure, I've done a load of the hard work for them and have already got a new bank account etc etc so with any luck that should speed up the process!!

    *Phew!*

LOL I have to think of it as delegating otherwise I'll start thinking I failed at going it alone, which I know I didn't because I did get quite a long way! Probably just one more round of token tango with any luck :D

    Good morning everyone!

Only 3 full weeks of school left over here in NI and then I'll be free from home ed for 9 weeks, although we don't have to stick to term time, it's nice to have official holidays. We've bought almost everything we need for September, so budget is looking good!

Dmp is the same, I haven't contacted Next yet but will do tomorrow. My only prob at the moment is that I'm still spending any surplus cash like before. Any tips how to change ones spendaholic ways? I would love to save for F&Fs and was doing well the first month but there always seems to be something we "need" I have changed the amount of spending and the shops I choose, but I worry that even if when I am debt free, I will still spend every penny. I want to learn how to save, HELP!!

Thanks Teddy - thats the route I'm going down too :D!!

LJM, I'm exactly the same - there is always something to spend the spare on regardless of good intentions to save! The only thing I've come up with is to put some of the spare into a bank account you can't easily get to (I've been using a NS&I Investment Account coz you have to give a months notice to get money out without loosing interest). I've found that having cash in any form at home is just an excuse to spend it :o...
