    Well

The DMP journey officially starts today. I'm now off to the Post Office to pay my first of many payments. Sad that i've got myself into this state but it is quite a liberating feeling.

Hi all, just home from work thought I'd give you a quick update.

DS is doing well no real change yet though. He is very hyper from the steriods practically bouncing of the walls!!!!!!! have to go wake him up now to take medicine, he has to take it every 6 hours! got him an eye patch today (the taping didnt go to well) but he is happy with the patch and wants to wear it all day so I guess mission accomplished.:j

Nothing to report dmp wise havnt really been paying much attention to it past couple of days with everything, although I did phone tax credits today and finally put in my figures and also informed them about hubby's cut in hours so hopefully a bit more coming from there, she couldnt tell me today what my new payments would be but I have gone online and filled out the questionnaire and reckon we should get an extra £40 or so a week, every little bit helps.

Thanks again for all your kind words and hugs for son very much appreciated, catch up soon.

    Have a good weekend all.

Eye Patch = lots of fun playing pirates?

    Hi all,

Just wanted to pick your brains. From the end of June i'm going to be going full time at work so my salary will go up. I'm wondering if i should save up and then look to do F&F's with my 2 credit cards (my largest creditor would take yrs to save for)or up my payments with the CCCS. I think if i did F&F's and offered them 50% it would knock my DFD right down. Not sure what to do?

    Thanks

    Morning all!

:grouphug: for you and lil man Andy! Bless him being so brave :)!

Congrats on the first tokens E2 - scary but liberating like you say :)!!

Gabs, personally I'd be saving up for F&F's. I figure that the sooner you get rid of them, the sooner you can increase your payment to the bigger one and the sooner its all gone IYSWIM?

 on the gremlins Mama!! Surely we should be able to beat them away with our paddles :D!

Great news on the acceptances Mikon - here's hoping for speedy responses from the rest of them :D!

PPP - hope the appeal on BoS goes well, it just seems like common sense to me that they shouldn't be allowed to double your interest rate for no reason. Surely you would have to sign something agreeing to them merging the three accounts and lumping 12% interest on it before they can actually get away with it? Case for the Ombudsman I would think.

:hello: LJM, Teddy, Natty, Nanny, everyone (apologies if I've missed anyone :o, permisson to kick my butt granted :D)

Hope everyone has a lovely, if not sunny then not raining, bank holiday weekend - plus side? No post for two days instead of just one :rotfl: :j YAY!! Anyone have any exciting plans? Can't quite believe its half term AGAIN next week, surely it was only the easter hols five minutes ago! I'm off to recover, DH decided to share his bl**dy man flu with me so I'm hiding on the sofa while DB is off out with Granny (:D) for the day!

Hugs :grouphug: all round :D xxxx

My 1st payment to CCCS went out on the 1st May and ive received a statement today and my debts are finally going down!!! :j
But other things not lookin good today........just had an email from ticketmaster about a refund of £77 for some concert tickets. They have sent the money to my Alliance & Leicester account which has been closed :mad:
I have just rang them and they said because i owe them £260 they will be taking the money off my debt!!! Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh but i need that money!!!!
And to top it off my electric sunroof on my car has broken and no money to fix it and its raining here today so my poor car is getting ruined
Im really struggling this month and its gonna be hard but too late to ring CCCS about this months payment because it goes out on the 1st. Goid i miss my credit cards!!!!
Time to stop wasting money and start saving some!! :T

    afternoon all,

Chocolates those pesky gremlins really are a pain, try to stay strong and think if you still had the cc you would just be making the situation worse, it is so so hard but we will all get through this you know you are doing the right thing. Do you know anyone that has a garage you could keep your car in while its raining? sending you a big dodgy hug (o dear I cant find them) keep posting it helps to rant.

MBNA collections agency phoned this morning so took note of all and said that she accepts we are making an effort and advised us to phone MBNA direct to ask them to freeze interest and charges will do next week am going to try and have a dmp free weekend and just relax, think we might deserve it after this week!

Son is doing ok we thought he had improved slightly but have compared to photos taken on Thursday and cant see any change so maybe we are just being hopeful but suppose its still early days hopefully by end of weekend we will see some sort of noticable change, but he is going crazy steriods have sent him loopy, bouncing off the walls! we have to laugh the sight of this crazy boy jumping about the place being hyper and only half of his face moving he really looks loopy, going to make him come out to walk the dog with me soon then he can round through park as mad as he wants.

    Love to you all.x

    The NEXT saga continues.

But a little headway has been made they have provided me with an address and tel number to contact.

    Send all correspondance to:

    P.O Box 300
    Rotherham
    South Yorkshire
    S97 3EU

Contact our Collections Department on 0844 844 8264. I bet you this is the address that CCCS have but hey ho here we go.

Received statement from Barclaycard no interest or charges have been applied so they stuck to their word. Thank you Barclaycard.

Weather is a bit horrible for a Bank Holiday so just chilling out and relaxing.

    Regards
