I have not heard anything from them and I am not ringing them.
Question for All
Has anyone received their password for their CCCS account so they can access it online. How long after receiving the Welcome Pack did you receive it? I have not received mine I might mention it on Monday.

I think it took a couple of weeks after the welcome pack but until the first payments go to your creditors, there's nothing to see. Even when you have paid them, it doesn't show until it has been distributed IYKWIM?Paddle no. 12

How strange
Here is a section from the Lending Code which all Banks have signed up to. I have highlighted the section that BOS should be looking at. Good job we did not adopt their attitude when they were in financial difficulty last year.
Under guidance issued by the Lending Standards Board, lenders will consider reducing or freezing interest and charges. Lenders will also accept token payments where appropriate.
Section 157 of the Lending Code November 2009 states that where a not-for-profit debt advice agency has formally notified a subscriber that the customer is in serious discussion with them on a draft debt repayment plan then the subscriber should suspend collections activity related to the customer’s current account, credit card and/or unsecured personal loan while these discussions continue, provided that they are concluded within 30 days.
The Ministry of Justice has been working with the British Bankers' Association (BBA) and the Consumer Credit Counselling Service (CCCS). Justice Minister Bridget Prentice said “firms should consider reducing or stopping interest and charges when a customer provides evidences that they are in financial difficulties.”Mikon Riding the DMP Rollercoaster full of ups and downs but i will get to the end. :T:j

Hi all, just home from work thought I'd give you a quick update.
DS is doing well no real change yet though. He is very hyper from the steriods practically bouncing of the walls!!!!!!! have to go wake him up now to take medicine, he has to take it every 6 hours! got him an eye patch today (the taping didnt go to well) but he is happy with the patch and wants to wear it all day so I guess mission accomplished.:j
Nothing to report dmp wise havnt really been paying much attention to it past couple of days with everything, although I did phone tax credits today and finally put in my figures and also informed them about hubby's cut in hours so hopefully a bit more coming from there, she couldnt tell me today what my new payments would be but I have gone online and filled out the questionnaire and reckon we should get an extra £40 or so a week, every little bit helps.
Thanks again for all your kind words and hugs for son very much appreciated, catch up soon.
Have a good weekend all.LBM - March 2010Paddle no. 15 :j0 -

Morning All
Not very sunny here at the moment, going to a barbeque later so hope it brightens up.
Not a lot to report on the DMP side, If you haven't had your password through from CCCS, and you can't wait to get in and have a look around, if you click on forgotten password, they'll send a new one by email right away and then you are off!!!
Small problem with Amex yesterday, CCCS appeared to be paying wrong people, involved 40 phone call to Amex with the WORST music, now sorted but not endeared to Amex customer services, who when I was a proper customer were always very good, do you think they deliberately treat debtors worse??? again not that endearing, just gone up the queue to be CCA'd!!!!!More than Two Years in
Doing it the Niddy way:j:j:j0
