    Hi everyone,

    Update.

Contacted CCCS today to find out how things are progressing. They informed me that they have written to ll my creditors and made offers on the 20th May 2010.

I need to set up DD for first payment to go to CCCS on 10th June CCCS will in turn make payment to all creditors on the 26th of each month.

I sought there advice regarding phone calls and they advised me to tell the creditors to contact CCCS.

I was also told not to make any token payments in June.

Funny enough I feel as if a weight has been lifted, how long it stays lifted is another matter but at least my DMP has started. Cannot wait for the 26th June so the first payment can be made.

Tedsd did you open your letter from NEXT?

Off for a cup of tea.

Thank you for supporting me through the weekend which was a difficult one.

    Regards

Hey Teds, bravo on the June 1st date...fingers crossed they all play nice.

I've not much to report, same old, same old. Avoiding calling Sainsburys Bank (I know, I know) but will do this week.

....I don't think it'll be long until HSBC rear their ugly head again...fingers crossed they hand me over to DCA soon!

Still haven't had a statement from Cap One so not sure what's going on there either!

...hey ho, no news in good news I guess! ;)

oooh aren't we all posh, thought I was on the wrong website!!!

Glad everyone is having some serene moments, we all deserve them. Nothing new to report this end either, couple of statements from lovely creditors, dire warnings about minimum payments but no interest, so neatly filed. Haven't had a statement or a peep from Lloyds for about 2 months, I suppose I should phone and nudge them on, but I just can't be bothered, its too hot and they are too stupid, so I will wait until I feel I could cope with that level of stupidity and phone them then.

Glad you're feeling better Mikon, the stress is not good for your blood pressure and is simply not worth it.
Vic phone Sainsbury's, I did and they got sorted and no interest as been applied!!!!!
Ted that's great that you are all up and started, no more token tango
Mama, you sound in better spirits, keep the chin up

Going to sit quietly in the sun, its amazing as you get older how long it takes to recover from a spell of nonstop activity, feel like 300 instead of my normal 150!!!

    Hello all

Just thought id pop in and say hello, i didnt use my computer all weekend- bliss! I had a lovely night friday, i went to a work night out, should have been £30 but someone dropped out and the place was going free so i had a 3 course meal and a disco it was great, i did originally say i wasnt going because i was skint (didnt admit the dmp haha) and everyone bought me drinks all night so that was lovely! had the usual dread in my stomach saturday morning trying to catch the post before hubby but guess what- no bad letters! so then i decided despite only having £7 in my purse wasnt a bad thing and i had a lovely weekend in the garden drinking pimms (those bottles go on forever with a 19p bottle of lemonade!) oh and fresh home grown mint and ice cubes yum!

anyway i came home today to find a letter from barclays and santander, so rang cccs who said my dmp was all set up and ready to go for june so i just need my welcome pack to come in the post now. not sure if the creditors have agreed yet but she said not to worry for now.

even though its not all up and running properly, and maybe its the sunshine, but for the first time in over a year i feel like the old me again!

Glad to hear you're feeling like yourself again! Once the dmp is running smoothly you will have days when you barely think about it. There may be some creditors who are a bit thick from time to time (see previous posts re Next!) but generally the feeling of relief once the dmp is running is so great that you will be able to handle any minor hiccups along the way!

Yep volcano very timely - dd at 7 is getting peer pressure about where are you going - which airport etc, mind warping her to make her eco warrior and say its good for the planet to holiday without aeroplane!!!!

Can't believe I missed the icepops!!! was in there today spending the last few pennies too, and DS would have been so happy-getting this budget thing right is tough! But at least we're getting better! Roll on payday - Thursday - come rain or shine I'll be at the icepops!

Have a good rest of the day too hun!

Mmmmm, peer pressure. So glad we home ed!!:rotfl::rotfl:

I know - They can be so cruel to each other too, but then I suppose only as cruel as siblings are - well mine are! If dd had any respect for anything I tried to teach her then I'd be very tempted but since being tiny she has steadfastly refused to let me help!?!!:eek:

Evening all, so glad to hear all is running smoothly and well for you all.

Unfortunatley things are going from bad to worse here, DH went to work on Saturday to be told he was going down to 4 days a week:eek:, got a phone call today to say it was now 3 days:eek::eek::eek:, dosnt really know what is happening so is going to go in tomorrow and say he cant go on like this and needs to know once and for all what is happening. At least then we will know what we're working with.

Phone the lovely people at CCCS this morning and explained what was happening so they have told me just to continue to pay the tokens until im in a position to proceed with dmp and told me not to worry they will get me sorted and even at the small amount I will b able to pay with his hours cut they will still accept it on a low start dmp and will just keep reviewing, they really are lovely people.

I feel so so so sick just as everything was working out and i was feeling really positive about the future and have been so proud of myself for not using any credit and actually paying for this with money i have, and now this:cry::cry::cry::cry::cry:

I am just devistated and am right back at the beginning now with no positive to focus on, really dont know what to do.

Im so sorry to bring this big black cloud to the thread when you are all doing so well.

Home ed isn't for everyone! There are some sibling issues here too but generally life is a lot more settled than when my eldest was in school, she was an angry little girl so no apparent reason....

Andy, stay calm. You are not the only one here who has had this sort of setback and hopefully someone who's been there and got the Tshirt will be along soon to reassure you.

Where do I find the hugs smilie???? Sending you one...
