    Hi Eyeopener2,

I don't know if it's normal practice or Santandurr practice, bit odd if you're not in arrears already, sounds like they've jumped the gun...

Someone else on here may know and will be along later...

Off for a much needed :coffee:

    grr... Santander ! plunkers.
Wrote them 2 letters , plus one from CCCS and phoned them , then today after no acknowledgement to any of the above , I get a stroppy letter about missing my normal (loan) payment..

They seem to ignore everything I send/say to them, which makes it hard to reach agreement ..!

    Hi everyone

    Thanks for all the comments.

    Update - Panic Over.

I emailed NEXT last night again and told them DMP Ref No. and not to call by phone. Recieved email back this morning say that they had taken note and would freeze my account for 14 days until CCCS have contacted them.

CITI - rec'd a letter this morning I know you all said do not open until Monday but i opened it and they said they would like a copy of my income/expenditure within the next seven days. I have wrote a reply telling them that they will be receiving this from CCCS in the next few days with an offer. So that is the weekend sorted.

A little calmer today. So everyone enjoy the sun and have a good weekend.

A Big THANK YOU from to all of you.

Morning everyone, hope you are all enjoying the sunshine!! We had a great day out yesterday at a national trust event, we have a membership (£63.00 or so a year for a family) so free entry!! On the way home I was basking in the glow of simple pleasures: fresh air, long summer walks (ankle totally better!!) and fish and chips picnic by the sea (paid for by grandparents and their constant "buy the kids a treat with that" while handing over tenners!)

    UNTIL.....

Email from Next, denying any payments from CCCS. Emailed them back this morning so hopefully they will recover from sunstroke and take notice....

Mikon a few months ago I was worrying just as much as you with the added stress of my DH not even really knowing about the DMP, but you will get stronger and more assertive with the creditors!!

So, sod the lot of them , we're off to another national trust event today, picnic and sunscreen is all we need!

PS does anyone think I'm mad for thinking about picking up bits and pieces for Christmas?

I've heard back from Next already!! They said that the reduced payment plan had automatically cancelled as the CCCS payment is later than my due date. They can't change the due date so from time to time the payment plan cancels itself and sends out emails (or phonecalls, I assume). Then they start adding charges, which they have now refunded??? So I'm going to have to tell them every month the same thing??

    Hi I'm back

lightly poached, absolutely knackered and never want to see a small businessman/woman again!!! best weather of the year and I've been stuck inside. Good news was the lot on the company CC so didn't cost anything and I've eaten well and stayed in fab hotel.
Well you've all been busy, Mikon, hope your weekend improved (I know its nearly over and I missed most of it), LJM look back and read your first couple of posts, you are obviously a new woman, strong, calm and assertive, go girl!!!
The creditors have no rhyme or reason, I can see no patterns in their behaviour, but generally I think, the longer they don't know whats happening/are kept in the dark, the more they kick off, and they all settle down once they see that the DMP is up and running and they are getting regular monies Its then they play the stupid cards with wrong signatures, wrong dates, we've never heard of CCCS and my classic example if you can contribute to the BNP (mistaken for DMP) why can't you pay your bill!!!. I honestly think a lot of it is to give them something to do, like someone has set up the system and they will stick to it regardless,
OK Sunday sermon over, have a great weekend everyone

Mama hope your feeling better, your SiL is getting great treatment and you just need to be there for her, but no reason for you not to feel bad, its a shock when its someone close.
Alibabes, hope your SiL is OK too, sending positive thoughts

I had a statement from Next yeterday - your post has just explained (I think) why I have a £6.62 Payment query credit! I too have a date that is not the same as the CCCS payment, Next want thir money on 12th:mad::mad::mad::mad:
But............ they get it on the 25th:mad::mad::mad:

    Morning everyone!

So glad things are starting to fall into place for you Mikon!!

Welcome back PDD - hopefully another couple of days of sunshine that you can catch!

Well Next are just stupid aren't they? At least they accept they are a bit thick and are refunding any charges - imagine adding up their bank statements, if they do this to every account on a DMP every month they must be a right mess :rotfl:!

Mama and Albie - hope your SiL's are doing ok, hugs xx

:hello: Teddy, Nat, Gabs, PPP, Nanny, LJM and everyone else who may come along today :D

Day off today because the dudes are coming to take my prepay meters out and I can finally go on direct debit and save a shed load of cash woopwoop!! Plus I can sit in the sun for a bit until they turn up :D

    Happy Monday everyone!!
