Why oh why do NEXT not read the emails and letters I send. Another phone call I don't know if I can cope with this much longer its getting me down. NEXT have just rang can i speak to your OH I said she was not in. Now I am worried they will ring back all weekend my weekend is ruined I cannot stop thinking about it, its constantly on my mind every minute of my waking day.

I feel as if I am going to have a panic attack. I just wish it would all end.

I feel sick and have headaches most of the time I just cannot see how this is the best option.

    Sorry for the rant.

Oh Mikon, try not to give up. It will get easier I promise. I think that it might be worth your while getting something that'll block their calls, or just dont answer any withheld numbers. Just to give you some peace.

Turn the phone volume off, switch on the answer machine and try to enjoy your weekend.

It'll all be worth it in the end Im sure :grouphug:

Thank you for taking the time to reply mamajojo and for the other welcomes. I need to get my letter copied and sent off to creditors. I really need to get this done asap now and get on the road to accepting my debts and doing something positive.

i have read a lot of the threads and will keep popping in.

    Hiya

We seem to be at a similar stage me n thee.

The way I look at this is that there is no credible alternative. Yes I could have struggled on, robbin Peter to pay Paul, borrowing more and more until it became impossible and the decision would be taken out of my hands. ie i'm off to court for all of this. Not good.

Yes the phonecalls are difficult but they do stop or at least calm down. I think Barclaycard have finally got the message after ringing up to ten times a day (mobile and home phone so 20 times really). It will get better. I have one particular pest still not listening to me but I just keep saying the same thing over and over..CCCS, ref XXXXXXXX, no cant pay, they will pay, etc etc.

At least this way, the DMP way, gives you a certain amount of control and it is on your terms to a certain extent.

So if you want a quiet weekend, do as the others say. Unplug the phone, when the post crashes on the floor (mine used to flop now it crashes theres that much off it) put it to one side till Monday, and kick back.

    Hi Mikon,

PLEASE unplug your phone or get some sort of device to block your calls.

You can't stop them ringing but you don't have to answer...

    Now, unplug the phone!!!!

    Ted x

Mikon I used to unplug the phone - just plug it in to make calls............ It does make a difference, whatever you do don't beat yourself up over it - as Ted says, unplug the phone........ Hugs xx
