  • What a fab weekend and today's not bad.
SCHITI must win the most ridiculous creditors award, as it stands they still claim not to have recieved my DMP offer (sent a month ago) although all other creditors accepted immediately.
The conversation today was like something out of Monty Python:

ME: Payplan notified you of the offer electronically a month ago, why haven't you responded?
SCHITI: We need to be informed in writing.
ME: Do you want me to contact Payplan (again)?
SCHITI: Yes and tell them to email us the details, it's quicker that way.
ME: But you've just told me it needs to be in writing.
SCHITI: Thank you for that, can I remind you not to use the card.
ME: Yes, thanks for reminding me......................at this stage I have fallen off my chair and am staring into oblivion.

How do these people possibly run a bank and make money?????

Well, we do seem a happy bunch of campers!

On my own front, i'm begining to think my phone is broken as I haven't had a single debt related phonecall today. No debt related letters thumping on the door mat either. I've no money but at least the sun is shining.

Not a bad day at all.

I've heard back from Next already!! They said that the reduced payment plan had automatically cancelled as the CCCS payment is later than my due date. They can't change the due date so from time to time the payment plan cancels itself and sends out emails (or phonecalls, I assume). Then they start adding charges, which they have now refunded??? So I'm going to have to tell them every month the same thing??

Ah...this might explain why I had a phone message to call NEXT! Wonder why they called as DMP payments to them have (so far!) been smooth!

Thanks for the heads up LJM x

:DThey are going to accept Ted- probably all in their own special way...following mind boggling procedures and teminating rites but you'll be fine!
Yep volcano very timely - dd at 7 is getting peer pressure about where are you going - which airport etc, mind warping her to make her eco warrior and say its good for the planet to holiday without aeroplane!!!!

Can't believe I missed the icepops!!! was in there today spending the last few pennies too, and DS would have been so happy-getting this budget thing right is tough! But at least we're getting better! Roll on payday - Thursday - come rain or shine I'll be at the icepops!

Have a good rest of the day too hun!
