Might be able to stretch to a tenner - fingers crossed its just a puncture! I know I need to go to Kwik Fit and get it sorted, but my god the very idea of it is making me want to cry!! One of the girls on my diary thread has got into visualisation and positive thinking so I'm currently visualising a nice round, non-flat tyre and hoping it'll fix itself :rotfl:

    Morning All!

Having a crap morning at work already!!...Sooner or later I'll just shout 'do it yourself if you're not happy!'...Grrrrr :eek:

Anyway, on the plus side, statement from Barclaycard, with CCCS amount and reduced to 3%, which works out about £4.50 of my £19.80 going in interest!...Not ideal but at least it's a start, and they accepted! :j

Statement from Sainsbury's Bank, showing CCCS payment but nothing else, interest is rocketing and so is 'minimum payment due'....weird as I've received no calls/letters from them. Annoying! AND BREATHE.

    Here's how I stand -

HSBC - in a standoff, hoping they transfer me to DCA
    Nationwide - accepted DMP
Next - accepted DMP (although still not showing on statements??)
    Virgin/MBNA - accepted DMP 0%
Cap One - Gone quiet, awaiting new statement
    Sainsburys Bank - Gone quiet
    Barclaycard - accepted DMP 3%

Anyway, hope you all have a good Tuesday....better than mine anyway! ;)

PDD **WAKE UP** sleepy head :D

Blimey ted, thats an early start, although I was awake at similar time, DS has discovered the joys now of practising his dadadadas at 6am in a VERY LOUD VOICE  why dont kids sleep, thats the best time of the day...yawn!!!
And a big :j for your last token payments... cant believe you're nearly there. What will you do when you dont have to go to the post office anymore... think they'll put up a plaque (hum not right spelling me thinks)

True you defo are the slummy mummy... pjs to school... you're my hero :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Morning mama! Not another DMP gremlin, they are nasty little b*****s! Oh DS loves the rolling, he now giggles when approaching the fire, such a cheeky monkey. DD is due to start pre-school in Sept, to be honest, shes gonna love it. Already runs off when dropping her at playschool. Not sure how to get them there when they dont wanna go though, I tend to bribe her with the chance of a sheep encounter :D

Regret, dont think we've said hello, sounds like you are finding your feet. Well done to your OH for being so supportive. I hate it when it starts getting close to end of the month, money just magically disappears. I made mistake of buying bulk buys this month, not a great idea, spent far too much. Ive been doing this since feb and I still cant get the budgets to work Oh well, heres hoping Junes a bit better. Just have to ignore parents 30th wed anniv, DSs 1st birthday, Dads birthday and of course fathers day..... uh oh I smell trouble :rotfl:

Vic petal, you need to phone Sainsburys, have to keep phoning mine every three months so that they keep accepting and keep the interest reduced, they are ok just a bit thick and obviously have a rule book as big as a house, but if ssaves some dosh its worth a phonecall

Just go BT bill and been charged 7.77 for low usage!!!

Had a quick search and apparently if you dont make 2 calls a month for the 3 months they charge you for having the caller display thinymagig.

So much for saving by using 18185 and all my own fault for not reading small print. Wont make that mistake again.

  • Just got off the phone from BoS, have 3 CCs with them, all were at 6.9% (long term promotional deals) before the DMP. They have accepted the DMP for all 3 but at 12.6%...............ggggrrrrrrrhhhhhhhh!

Had long conversation with chap explaining how I was supposed to pay this off, especially as they had advised contacting Payplan and I have followed their advice in doing a DMP and have ended up paying more in interest.

Anyway, after 20 minutes of me moaning he agreed to pass it on to a higher authority, I then rang the fab payplan who also then rang BoS to try and sort this mess out. Just had an email from Payplan stating BoS will be in touch but acknowledge I shouldn't be paying more interest than I was before I entered the DMP.

Phewwww, I thought life would calm down once I started. Happy days. PP
