Morning all!
Well I'm on the second coffee, DB has been duly dropped at school (yes, I did wear my PJ's), the washing is on the line and my stress levels are peaking at about one million because.....I have a flat tyre. Now, I can tie exhausts up, I can replace a fan belt or a gasket but something as supposedly as simple as a flat tyre? No chance.
*Deep breath* - shank's pony for me again today.....
I have however been curled up laughing at an article on the news this morning. A protest (somewhere is Devon) against lorries using a village road. There is one bloke, with a hand painted sign on a stick, wearing a face mask who keeps pressing the button on the pedestrian crossing and perpetually crossing the road and completely blocking traffic - funniest thing I've seen for ages :rotfl:Paddle #8 DFW Nerd #12840 -
LOL I think I'm going to give up with the car, I think it must have its own little gremlin living in the boot :rotfl: oh well the walking will do me and doggles the world of good
!
That was on the local news, but it was the top headline which made it even funnier lol http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/dorset/8688120.stm its Dorset, not Devon sorry any Devonians!

Just has hsbc on phone...he'd no idea why he was calling and then confirmed for me that I had been making payments through cccs!? Said I'd to keep doing that and if i could pay a bit more then it would look good on me!!!! When I said I was unable to but that whatever I had to be fair to all my creditors (wanted to say especially my oldest and least likely to have a CCA!)I said DH was at an interview today seeking promotion to enable us to deal with our debts faster he ws very befuddled, as no doubt had to go off script and say he hoped it went well. I was very PDD!! but didn't call him young man - just talked to him like that, and thanked him for his polite, understanding and positive phone call! He was very pleased and said goodbye like I was his best friend. Ahh well hope he behaves even better now to the next person he's to call... Sorry had to share...PDD perhaps you could have a side line teaching folks how to do the creditor calls, though I don't think it'd get you any closer to DFD...DMP mutual support thread member 371LBM Jan 2010DMP Paddle No 20

Hi Ted and True! What is it with bleeping cars and dmpsTrue - Fan belt and gasket?!?!?!?!?! Our last flat tyre was fixed at HIQ for £10 puncture, it was Dh's car and he'd just been pumping it up again everyweek...maybe yours won't be a new tyre.Ted - MOT yikes £380, but most impressed by you being able to pay it!
Dh's has cost us £160 already and is going to be another £450 at least we think...then we'll be paying back very kind MIL instead of getting proper emergency fund together( If DH gets this job we could do without him having a little car! As its much closer to home though would be a long walk.....and then I wouldn't be able to work unless it was in the village... why did it seem a good idea living in the sticks?!I heard about the crossing OAP- think I heard about it on the radio but fear for his safety now he's been on the news!!!Ted I'm rubbish at songs so am going to have to look it up!
