thanks PDD, i think i am just getting nervous about it all. im guessing once its calmed down a bit i will feel a bit better. i swear im never buying anything again until i have saved for it.
It will get better Regret, promise! You'll soon begrudge buying anything unless you absolutely have to - I've even busted my shoe fetish since trying to sort the DMP out :rotfl: although this season's Karen Millen limited edition are really pushing my buttons!!
Talking about saving - my BFF (I know, I've inherited it from the youngsters I work with) is getting married in Florida
:D:D and I'm being bridesmaid
:D:D in 2013 so I have 3 years to save up £10k  but it gives me a reason to go to the chip shop everyday!!
The whole positive mental attitude thing was always so completely alien to me but today has been brilliant - especially after a rubbish start to the day.
Unfortunately, my tyre is still flat.....but I'm visualising hunky Kwik Fit man making it all better :rotfl:
Vic - hope your Tuesday got better

Judging from most peoples experience on here, yes they will - eventually. They may well surprise you and accept straight off or they may not - most likely a combination of the two. But the most important thing to remember is that they can't have what you haven't got. They can threaten and call and threaten and call but the bottom line is that and thats why you have the CCCS working for you and of course, you have us slightly mad lot on here to talk to, rant at or get dodgily huggedxxx

Citi Credit cards are pestering me on the phone twice a day now. Even though I have asked them to remove my telephone number from my records and they tell me that they will update the system. Also wrote to them 3 times now explaining situation. Does anyone on here have the name of someone a CITI I want to send a letter to the head of Debt management so need a name.
All other creditors seem to be quite too quite for my liking, getting a bit nervous again had a good week last week but dreaded coming home today and that is a terrible situation to be in. !!!!!! CITI.
Hopefully CCCS should send all the info to my creditors sometime this week.
Any help or advice on the CITI front would be gratefully received.

feeling a bit scared still today about my dmp, im still getting letters from my creditors regarding defaults. how long before they take me to court? !
Just thought I'd answer this to ease your worries, defaults dont mean they'll take you to court. A default is simply a bit of legal jargin that means you have broken their credit agreement. Put simply 'u aint payin your monthlies'. But one bit of fab news, they only stay on your credit rating for 6 years, so the sooner they arrive the sooner they're gone.
Going to court (if it happens) is so long off theres really no need to worry about it.Debt at LBM - £11,505Debt 2011 = [STRIKE]8K[/STRIKE] £7760 - DF in July 2013DMP Paddle no. 1 Sealed Pot No. 1375Grocery Challenge Aug £418.31/£450 Sept £ /£4500 -

CCCS advised that I send everything recorded delivery. I just want a name to put on the address. They are a law unto themselves. Must admit they have not had a SOA but hopefully CCCS will get in touch soon.
The problem is it is awkward talking on the phone when your daughters are around and they ask questions when you come off the phone so all I want is the calls to stop.
Thanks for the reply.Mikon Riding the DMP Rollercoaster full of ups and downs but i will get to the end. :T:j
