I to used to unplug the phone without DH knowing - or ignore the call if I didn't know the number, the number of times MIL said she'd rung and the was no answer!! DH would say we had been in so she couldn't have rung the right number!!:o

    Best Friend Forever?
10K True!!!!! Wowzer Thats some holiday!!!!!

Ah - there you go :D!

She says 10K will cover all three of us, food, tickets to get in the parks, flights, car hire etc for three weeks? I'm thinking we'll just go out for a couple of weeks and stay in the cheap hotel down the road from her, see if I can drop the cost to a more realistic figure!! Although 10k probably isn't bad for all that....dunno, haven't been on holiday since I was 16 :rotfl:

    Hello lovely peeps!!

Hope we all had a very restful sleep ready for hump day?

Well, hunky Kwik Fit man/Gavin off of Autoglass haven't fixed my tyre so my first job for the day is to do my hair, stick some makeup on, wear a low cut top and go to the garage and look helpless :rotfl:!! Well second job, first job is lots of coffee and practice being brain dead - I'm a brunette so have to try extra hard :rotfl:

Am thinking about calling CrapOne today...only thinking about it, probably won't, maybe I'll write to them again ;)

    Morning All

Schiti are law unto themselves, totally incompetant and have just sold their CC business in the UK to some other gang of incompetants so don't expect any sense soon. They wrote to OH to say he had been sold, but never gave any new account nos or addresses, CCCS said just to wait to see, so we are.

Its raining here and I'm not a happy bunny, OH has now got my cold, and of course his is much much worse, so he's in bed, I'll just stagger on then.

    Have a good day all

Ah PDD that cold is hanging around a bit!! Lots of oranges :)

I have a question - do you think its ok to have a gym membership on a DMP? My doctor has suggested it - I used to go all the time and the whole exercise/endorphins thing really worked - but he won't refer me. I can get a discount on the membership so it's going to cost about £20 a month, which is cheaper than the prescriptions for the tablets that this is intended to replace....so is it ok???

    Hi True

I might hide it somewhere in groceries or phones or something, cos they will just look at it and think luxury!!! And they won't want to know that its replacing presciptions etc, what do you think, do you have room for a wee hidden cost? What about charities or haircuts??

Thanks guys - there is money in my "prescriptions" pot, and seeing as it is medical I don't need to feel guilty for using it erm, differently :D! Will make an appointment and go and see the woman :)
