Afternoon all, not much to report today alls quiet on the creditor front, checked my bank and all the token payments have been cashed so guess i'll wait for the statements.
Feeling a wee bit low today not too bad just a bit blahhhhhhh, done some shopping and only had my new debit card with only £50 in it so knew I had to stick to it so went round the supermarket writing down all the prices as i put them in the trolley then totalled them up before going to the till.......how sad is that:(
I have a neices birthday this week and have been invited to a party with work on saturday nite and a lunch i do with a friend once a month is this week and its my turn to pay:eek: It just all feels a bit daunting as my budget is not really up and running properly yet so i dont have the money put aside for these yet, when the budgets going i have included all this so will be fine but this first stage i am just finding a bit hard as im still paying a couple of my minimum payments for stuff connected to the bank but i have worked that I should be able to close the account on 23rd so i can go onto the token payments for them too.
Its just hard getting it all straight in my head and all started up, i know i'll get there in the end.
Glad to hear your doing better ljm and good luck with the house true, i've finally got mine sorted although it really dosnt last long!
Hi Andy
Is it worth suggesting a new arrangement i.e all pay for your own? If you suggest starting it after you have paid you can't be blamed for dodging!

only
they never told me, they said they wrote a letter, never got it, have spoken to them 5 times on the phone since 15th January, they never told me but it was accepted on 1st March!!!!
Guy this monring tells me its accepted and will be sent to a DCA, but they will accept the payments as usual at the moment because it can take 10 months to send to a DCA. CCCS were never told either, but the guy did confirm the balance, (about right with payments off and no interest added) How do they get away with being so incompetant????
They were sent to mangle you but you are stronger! Any way :j:j:jI can't believe it after all the bother you've had!DMP mutual support thread member 371LBM Jan 2010DMP Paddle No 20 -
Morning everyone!
Just had to pop on and say  re: ConDem (geddit??) government!!!
:grouphug: Gabs - I can only echo what everyone else has said really, just wanted to give you an extra virtual hug.
Great news on the stopped interest and acceptances Prof and PDD - despite Lloyds being super efficient again!
:hello: to everyone - hope everything is running smoothly - :rotfl: at the withheld number Teddy!!
Where's Nat???? Enjoying her freedom I suspect
Am off to continue trying to sort the house out, I honestly cannot believe quite how much junk I've accumulated over the years. But anyway, ebaying some bits so hopefully will make some £££'s - got to tax the car end of next month and I've been a bit rubbish at buying my stamps....must try harder. No news on anything over here, except HSBC appear to have blocked my internet access to my account - anyone else had this?
I'm working pretty much constantly in the chippy this week, which isn't necessarily a good thing because its wearing me out and I'm not being as careful as I probably should be, managed to splash hot oil onto my forehead yesterday  oh well....

Well I've just nearly fell off my chair. Got a letter a few days ago from CCCS saying Lloyds TSB not accepting DMP, wasn't expecting any less from them after reading other peoples stories to tell the truth!! But this morning I've had a letter from TSB themselves saying ................... They'll accept it :j , they're not stopping interest completely but will reduce it as long as I behave, which is better than nothing.
I've had a letter from crapone saying the debt has been transferred back to them (it was passed on to their in-house collections) not sure whether this means they've accepted or not, will have to wait and see.0 -

Debt at LBM £23,0000 -
Good Afternoon,
Newbie here and I hope I can join? I had my LBM in November 2009 and had some £38715in unsecured debts with CC and Loans. Got my DMP set up and I shall be debt free in 2015.
Apart from BarclayCard who haven't reduced or frozen interest (and weirdly enough haven't defaulted my account either) and BarclayCard Loan who have rejected the DMP and defaulted straight away, all my other creditors accepted and froze interest.
Strangly Barclays Card Loan advised 2 months ago that they would pass my debt on to a DCA but I haven't heard anything since but pay the monthly amount offered originally in the DMP. So I guess I just got to wait to see what happens with this.
Anyway, I wish I had my LBM far earlier as I would have a ) not accumulated extra debts and b ) could have started a actions far earlier and thus be debt free earlier.
I hope I can join here, get a paddle number and maybe be a little moral support to others.LBM 11/2009 Total Debts 11/2009 £44624 with DFD 2015
Debt Free Date: 14/11/2012 :j:j:j0
