Well got the replacement card yesterday with a letter saying that I hadn't used it in a while so they had sent a replacement and that I have 3 months interest free on purchases made up to 31st October
. To be quite honest I only got it for the 0% balance transfer (which I have paid off :j) but this will come in handy as my car insurance is due for renewal on 1st October
.....wonder what will happen once I pay that off if I don't use it :rotfl:

Do searches only take 6 months to drop off? I thought it was 12..?0 -
CCJ 6 years
Default six years
Outstanding debt search two years
Normal search one year
Bankruptcy six years
These are correct as far as I know but please correct if wrongI'm not poor i'm just skint0 -
To add to this, repayment history on Experian 36 months, repayment history on Equifax 48 months. Not sure about Call Credit.
... Hmm... Had my Silver card for 18 months now perhaps I could ask about free purchases or sommat? Got a £NIL balance but has been used a lot lately, bought a load of driving lessons and such like paid off over a couple months so should have good account score with them.
We'll see what they offer. Wish me luck!Cashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48

Hi all! Got accepted for FLYBE! Card in 7-10 days...! Any idea on the limit? I have 3 sub-prime cards (Aqua, Vanquis, Cap 1, £700/£250/£400 limits-only £80 used up in ttl)...NO missed payments/defaults/bad credit at all & an OD that's sometimes used (to £300ish-limit £800) but cleared monthly. Joint income £28k.
I gather the FLYBE is the hardest one to get-is that correct??? Also did a pre-application for barclaycard yesterday (70-80% for a 7.9% card)-website kept 'sticking' so did the phone application. Apparently I'll know within 10 days 'but will be offered an alternative card if needed' (??!). I understand Barclaycard never give a straight 'yes/no' online/on the phone-is this right?
Also....I hear you can make more than one application to the creation/sygma group-is this correct??? If so when can i do this?
Not looking to spend spend spend but want some relatively low rate cards for emergencies/also to build up credit profile & TO BIN OFF vanquis/cap 1!!
Any advice would be fab!0 -

I have held their JJB card for some 2 years now - nil balance due to rate jacking, but still held because I usually receive a bt offer in the new year which I find useful. So I was surprised to receive the following e-mail:
Thank you for applying for the Creation card. We’re pleased to tell you your application was successful. Your new card and PIN will be with you within 7 to 10 days.
For security reasons, please call 0871 200 0347 immediately to confirm your card has arrived safely.

Followed some 3 hours later by:
We sent you an email in error today. This was as a result of human error, and I can reassure you that no application has been processed. You don’t need to do anything.
We apologise sincerely for this regrettable error and confirm that the previous email can be deleted.
Now I will need to check equifax to see if they have made any fresh searches.

I went from a Vanquis (£250) and Capital One (£200) to get a Flybe card for £2000. Obviously different factors between us will affect what limit you actually get - but you should get a half decent one (in comparison to the subprime cards anyway).0 -
Fingers crossed! Half tempted to call but will wait for the card....!:j0
