I would wait, they are likely to decline a further application
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.

Yes but now that his gf has had one application declined they'll auto decline any subsequent applications for I think three months? Or is it six months?

I would suggest waiting a minimum of three months, or just be happy with the Creation card to be honest there's no need for more :o

    (I don't have two though, honest :o )

Well they have given me three increases, one after three months and two after four additional months each, but nothing since.

I manually requested them and they decline me for additional increases; but then I don't really use the cards so that makes sense.

I don't think they take limit requests over the phone any more, you have to apply via the website. They are a bit stricter than they used to be.

Although with all that limit available to you now; you're best off not increasing them.

In June I received a letter informing me that my Flybe card interest rate would be increased by 4%.I was given 2 months notice.
Since the interest had been increased once since I took out the card, and considering I had a sizeable balance (£1700) on the card, I decided to opt out and phoned them accordingly.
I received a letter from them dated 8th June telling me my account has been closed and to destroy card etc, etc.
However, my August statement has arrived and... yes, the interest is charged at the increased rate from which I was supposed to have opted out.
So, more work and phoning for me later, which I could have done without. Why don't these matters run a little more smoothly? - you needn't answer that.

I'd suggest a formal written complaint requesting recompence for the time and resources expended in dealing with their not actioning your request. It might also be worth a bluff suggesting you'd requested this on the prior increase but was never actioned, either.

Correction - 5 cards. JJB card arrived the other day.

All cards being used and cleared in full each month. Got a £15 M+S voucher for opening the Accessory card.... that'll go to good use :)

LMFAO - don't expect to get any more cards / loans / overdrafts elsewhere with five credit cards each with four figure limits open on your credit file :o :rotfl: :rotfl:

Cards - Definately don't want any more - just seeing how how their scoring works and to be fair I'm quite sure they're not being very responsible. However I'll need to keep them open for at least 12 months now before I close some of them, and I will be closing 3 of them.
    Loans - Don't need one
Overdraft: Don't need one - got loads saved up.
