There are a lot worse things in life. People go abroad and face tornado's, earthquakes, illness. 5 minutes with a cloth and tipping some mouldy tea bags into a bin is hardly something to demand a refund for.

Of course there are worse things in life - you could say that about anything.

It doesnt mean that you have to accept shoddy service though!

That doesn't mean you should get a full refund everytime you have to spend 5 minutes with a cloth to sort something out yourself.

Actually then, how come so many complaints on here contain the wording "I've never known......." or "I've never been............." lol?

Why are you including the cost of flights??? does the £2000 include the cost of getting to the CHAVen site?

Of course you include the cost of flights, it only costs petrol money to get to a holiday site in the UK or are flights free nowadays

Think you need to turn on your spellchecker BTW

Probably not - but when I complained to Haven I didnt even get an apology, let alone a refund or even partial refund.

Some companies care and others don't. Haven is one of the former.

SO petrol is free as well then???

I think CHAVEN is much more apt than HAVEN personally.

Petrol for taking 6 people on holiday in the UK will be cheaper than paying for 6 return flights and petrol/parking to get to the airport for a holiday abroad, don't you take that into consideration when booking a holiday i think most people do as its a overall cost

and to add, I once stayed in something similar at Bultins in Minehead. A 5 minute whip round with a damp cloth fixed most of the problems. Gaps in the curtains are hardly going to ruin one's holiday experience.

Oh, and the mould that was climbing out of the teapot due to last seasons tea bags being left in it was also fairly easily remedied.

You must be VERY easily pleased then.

Fortunately I have a grip on reality and I am not possessed with the need to jump up and down and complain about the most trivial of things that with minimal effort I can solve myself.
