And it was horrible - like sleeping in a low class shed, with toy facilities. Venturing outside was like stepping into an episode of 'Shameless'.
And yes, I own a timeshare in a 5* hotel, so I could easily take another 7 people there for £2k.
Realistically how many people own a time-share i would say not many and dont they cost you money every year.
Holidays in August abroad in the school holidays for £333 each including hotal and flights etc, must be very few and far between ?0 -
and to add, I once stayed in something similar at Bultins in Minehead. A 5 minute whip round with a damp cloth fixed most of the problems. Gaps in the curtains are hardly going to ruin one's holiday experience.
Oh, and the mould that was climbing out of the teapot due to last seasons tea bags being left in it was also fairly easily remedied.0 -

Quite easily do-able if you shop around and book early. We're staying in a fantastic beach front villa in Greece this summer, height of school hols, works out to £340 each all in.
Would I rather a caravan in the UK? Nah!Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
Did you not ask to be moved to another caravan? Most of those are trivial things that could be easily remedied (like the fridge temp)or ignored (surely a white stain on the door doesn't ruin your holiday) but I wouldn't like to stay in a caravan where I couldn't close the window as it would be freezing at night and someone could get in. I would have asked to be moved to a different caravan. I think you're being a bit hopeful to look for a full refund tbh.0

I would rather stay in a caravan but that's just me0 -

Yes I read the complaints - a couple of them were a bit petty, but I know exactly where the OP is coming from because I have stayed in one of their 'caravans'0 -

Why are you including the cost of flights??? does the £2000 include the cost of getting to the CHAVen site?0 -

I suppose some people just expect more from their holiday than others.
I would not be happy about having to clean before I stayed somewhere and if there was mould in the teapot I would be physically sick!0 -

If your reply cannot be nice, has an underlying issue, or you believe that you are God, please post in another forum. Thank you0 -

There are a lot worse things in life. People go abroad and face tornado's, earthquakes, illness. 5 minutes with a cloth and tipping some mouldy tea bags into a bin is hardly something to demand a refund for.0
