Sheesh. Can't believe what some people put up with.0

And feel free to look for it on the delightful Haven website! that was last years prices - they are probably £3K this year!
I think Platinum is their top of the range but not all the parks have them, so at some parks Prestige is the highest grade. Just looked up prices for mid August
at Devon Cliffs (as I think this usually seemed to be the most expensive park)
and a week in a 3 bed Platinum, which sleeps 8, is £1438. I agree that's a lot but it's not £2k.0 -

I can't believe what some people are willing to let spoil their holiday.0 -

No it isnt, but it is ££2876 for two weeks
For that price, 4 people could fly to Gran Canaria (£1400) and stay here:

and still have change left over to buy themselves a passport...0 -

I won't be coming round to yours for a cuppa any time soon.
No, better leave it a couple of weeks to allow time for your tea to "brew";)0 -

Don't you mean teapot?
Seriously though OP, i agree with you on the door. Generally i prefer mine to fit in the doorframe too
The other stuff, whilst annoying probably isn't going to be a dealbreaker.
I've been to a few Haven's & Park resorts (caravan holiday with the kids, must be mad!) and the level of service can vary greatly from park to park.
You were right to complain, but i seriously doubt you'll be getting anything other than a "goodwill" voucher or somesuch.
As for the clientele, what can i say. Muppets everywhere, even on holiday...0 -

Probably cheaper than Haven as well.
Ha ha.
What a laugh.
£680.00 for a weekend in February isn't cheap.
I went with family.
It IS nice there but a lot of people like Haven and to suggest everyone that goes there is a chav is insulting and stuck up!!(c) Broke in Yorkshire. ( there are worse places )
Those that matter don't mind and those that mind don't matter!0 -
I had the same problem many years ago, I booked into a Haven caravan and the fridge was set at 2 degrees when the check sheet said 1 degree. When I got back after my 2 week holiday I demanded a full refund but have yet to hear anything. Clearly they are still considering my case :-)
But seriously, does the OP really expect a full refund. You stayed the whole weekend availing yourself of the facilities. Furthermore of the complaints listed probably 2 at most are valid. The fact that an individual has at sometime smoked in a non smoking caravan is hardly havens fault, and I question how a stain on the door actually affects anyones holiday.
Overall a pretty petty letter, I have strong suspicions that the OP is either Trinny or Suzanne from 'How Clean is Your House'0 -

I paid less for my weekend in CP than my weekend in Haven:).
It was 100 times nicer so I would have paid more too.
I went to Haven myself, so I obviously wasnt suggesting that everyone who goes there is a CHAV, but the last time I went everyone who I met was a CHAV, so perhaps that particular weekend it was just me who wasnt one.
( I especially liked the lady who had the names of her 4 children tatooed on her arm:))0
