Topher, have a great day with your family. :j

Hi, Lillibet, Spud, and the gadget! My DH is back at work today, so I'm in the house alone. I'll be FLCing like mad. I need to get ahead as I'm doing 3 days at w*** this week and possibly 4 next week

    Hello, wearside!

Hi Shez and Mr Shez! :hello: :hello: Not seen much of you this weekend. Though, I've been around and reading, but not had much time to post.

Off to tackle my paperwork hotspot while I have breakfast.

    Good Morning All

Havnt been on for a few days as the weekend was so busy. Havnt been able to catch up on the threads yet so hope everyone is ok, (((hugs))) to those who arent.

Party was great on Saturday really enjoyed it but it is such a relief it is over now - house still needs a lot of tidying and Ive never seen my washing basket so big but it'll get done eventually.

Need to go into a big town today to get school shoes and a couple of last minute things for school. Hate shoe shopping with the kids so mission is to get in and out of town asap. Will then need to label all the new clothes this week. Hoping for a quiet week and need to start the kids getting up early again and back into routine.

Lillibet - how about some hummous with sliced pitta bread and veggies. Or a small selection of cheese's and nice biscuits. Hope it goes well.

Going now to see if washing done and then put another load in.

    Have a great day.

Blimey! isn't it amzing how quickly the daily thread grows once it's started.
Icemaiden - I'm still in a tiz with my budget. Totally blown the petrol part this week, and think the food one has gone the same thanks to my trying to savvy shop with tesco vouchers (and mucking it up) Hopefully it will be easier to get on top of once the boys are back in school.
Topher - the smileys are from smiley central. I couldn't get them working for ages and then they suddenly worked - I've no idea what I did different, lol.
Hi Pen pen - i can see you've posted while I type 4_1_202.gif

Moggins - re the bootsales, have you tried posting on your 'local' board on MSE to ask if anyone knows of any local bootsales? That's how I found out about the bank holiday one - and there are a few websites that now tell you about some local booties. Not many of the ones in Wales are listed, but quite a few over in England.

    Morning all.

Pah - run out of milk this morning. Only just enough for 1 cup of tea once DH had cereal and DD her cup of milk (she does need it since she's only 21 months old). DS is on goats milk since he has a tendency to eczema when he's on the cow stuff - but I can't stand it in tea so I'm having to play the martyr and huff and puff at DH since I did ask him to get some yesterday and he forgot (funnily enough he did remember the wine he was to get)

Dentist for kids this morning. Then it's off to brave the shops for school trousers and shoes. Also going to treat myself to a new mascara.

Also going to check out SC prices. Winter coming and time for stews, curries etc will be upon us. Had one years ago that Mother had found at a jumble sale but it couldn't be cleaned very easily and I'm afraid I threw it out in a strop at the state it was in. You're all inspiring me. I've seen one that's also a rice cooker and steamer - bit pricey though. I always make a complete mess of the cooker when I cook rice so I'm wondering if what I spend on this gadget will be saved in cleaning products (justification ?)

you all seem to have full and productive days planned. Hope you all get done everything you want and have time to enjoy things to the full.

    Morning everyone!

For some strange reason I was awake at 5am today. This is very strange for me; I can sympathise with those of you for whom this is a regular occurrence!

I have been cruising on the internet for about an hour after seeing OH off for the week. I'm not usually conscious when he goes on a Monday morning.

I have to go to the post office to post a huge pile of competition entries I amassed this weekend. I also intend to sort out DS's school uniform. He doesn't need anything new as they usually go back in summer uniform but I need to make sure it is all clean and ironed. I may as well do that sooner rather than later. He still hasn't finished his homework. I keep chivvying him along to do it but I know it will all end in tears by the weekend because he has too much to do.

I have got pork tenderloin steaks out of the freezer for tonight, so I need to have a look around to find out what I can do with them. I have no washing to do and we have a fresh loaf from yesterday afternoon so BM doesn't need to go on yet.

I have quite a lot of stuff on ebay at the moment which as bids on it so I will be busy wrapping and posting later in the week.

Right-oh. Must get off and get something done. I hope you all have a good day.
