Morning Icemaiden, hope you had a good night out if you're paying for it today.
D.H. is headed off to Wakefield to do some work & I'm going to Batley Tescos later to show Sis what can be done with a tightly held purse. (No other meaning intended)
Have a good morning ! (Toe Dressing obviously isn't the easiest thing to pass on best wishes for)

Morning Kaz and everyone that follows
I have been waiting for the thread to start too:D
I can't believe it's Tuesday already don't the days fly by
This weekend I grabbed some real bargains, I went into BHS where they had a bedding sale, looked a bit like a jumble sale really but I managed to find a king size duvet set for £16.50:T Really thick and heavy cotton and in cream and gold embossed like everything else in my bedroom so I was really chuffed:j I then bought some new net curtains and I couldnt decide which ones I liked so I bought two sets so I can have a change now and then.
Washed my dry clean only curtains and they turned out fab (saved £60) thats how much they cost to dry clean:eek:
Ordered a tumble dryer which will come Thursday:j I am having real troubles getting washing dry and having such a small home it's hard to have clothes horses everwhere, talking of horses mine seems to be on the mend:T
I didnt manage to get mums screen or bowls pressies this weekend but I still have two weeks til her birthday. Both mum and dad retire this year it feels a little strange as all I have known in my life is them working so I feel I want to push the boat out on their pressies this year like another chapter in their lives IYKSWIM
So I seem to have spent a few quid this weekend but I will now pull the reins in from now til payday.
Hope evryone is well
Hugs for those who need them
Is it me or is there a 'nip' in the air todayPerhaps it's me I fling most windows open when I get up to air the place

Morning everyone & thanks for starting the thread Kaz, I too was puzzled why there was no thread by 7am
Hope everyone had lovely long weekends.
Hubby is back to work today after 8 days off.....THANK GOD!!! Can't believe how much mess he creates & how much more difficult he makes it to tidy up!
Hubby has invited our new neighbours in for drinks tomorrow night, anyone got any suggestions on what nibbles I can serve? We don't know them at all so no idea what they like/if they are veggies etc. I don't like just sticking out a bowl of crisps.
Today will consist of a quick tidy up, shopping at local shops including butchers & perusing for Xmas pressies, playing with Spud this afternoon as although he has had both of us at home for the last week I don't think he has got nearly enough attention, then later on trying to really get to grips with the chaos Hubby has created:rolleyes:
Have a good day everyone;)
PS : I have started a name that kitchen gadget thread relating to my "find" last week, would be very grateful if anyone can offer any suggestions:o. Cheers;)Post Natal Depression is the worst part of giving birth:p
In England we have Mothering Sunday & Father Christmas, Mothers day & Santa Clause are American merchandising tricks:mad: Demonstrate pride in your heirtage by getting it right please people!0 -
Good Morning everyone! I have done my mutual points clicks and Quidco too. Off to make my OH a cup of tea now, then see what happens. Hopefully the lawn will be dry enough to mow as I am off work today as the office is closed for some bizarre reason!
Have a good day everyone. To Dare is To Do:beer:0 -

OMG I must type slow
MORNING topher, Icemaiden, Catowen, Twink, Lillibet, Wearside0 -
Morning Catowen, blackeberry picking sounds a good idea. The Sloes are nearly ready round here too.
Morning Lillibet, Twink & ageandjo, I'm guessing it was you whose real horse had had problems, glad I've only clothes horses to care for (winter fodder coming their way by the basket load)
Hi Wearside, you'd just arrived after I'd typed this, editing skills are alright, but I'm still on my learning curve with putting folk's names in bold like some of you do.
Kaz where did you get those great pictures that are within your text?
