Morning all, 3 pages already - you lot are a right bunch of gossips this morning
Hugs to everyone - I can't remember who said what apart from ageandjo - good luck with the horse.
Kaz - don't wear yourself out before Thursday!
DH has come home with a stinking cold. It's not like him to fuss about anything so I know he is really ill. He's the only man I know who doesn't suffer from man flu! I've also got a sore throat so I think he's passed it on
I must go and tackle the kitchen soon, I neglected it because of the new episode of Extreme Makeover home edition last night, then I am taking the kids ten pin bowling at lunchtime - vouchers care of Mr T. Tomorrow we are off to Cadbury World so I must sort out some food to take with us.Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

catznine wrote:Lillibet how do you make this? I have lots of blackberries in the garden and some vodka left over from last weeks party so would love to try!
Catz x
Get a large airtight container, something like a empty plastic milk carton or coke bottle and ensure it is TOTALLY dry inside. Wash & put in blackberries & shove in some sugar, enough to coat the fruit well. Put lid on & shake about to release juices, then top up with vodka or other drink of choice, at least enoguh to cover the fruit. Shake well, store for as long as you can resist temptation, 3 months is ideal, shaking occasionally. Drain & re bottle vodka & serve. Vodka may increase in volume due to the sugar turning to alc:D This works with most soft fruits. If using a harder fruit (i.e not berries) !!!!! first then leave sitting in sugar for a few hours & shake a lot before adding liquid to release jucies. If using fruit like cherries (for brandy) you can save the fruit & dip in mealted chocolate for after dinner choccys (if you don't eat them out of the jar that is:rolleyes:)

Morning all
You all sound very busy today. Way to many of you to remmeber who's doing what, but good luck PP at the hospital and hope your horse is ok ageandjo.
I'm back at w**k (from home today) after our long weekend away in Belgium. We had a fab time, just got very wet, the hot bath last night was the first time I've felt truely warm since Wednesday. This morning I've had my shopping delivered, WM finished and hung with another load in. DW emptied and refilled, oven is on for my first attempt at the Weetbis loaf.
I've got a load of stuff to pack and post that I sold on ebay last night (all to fill Flossie the Mortgage Sheep).
I'm going to attempt the Louisana Chicken from the receipe thread tonight, DH won't know whats hit him when he gets home.
Really need to clean the kitchen floor aswell, but that can wait for a few hours. Am away overnight tomorrow with w**K (must book my hotel).
Will catch up again later.0 -
Hello Shez!:hello:
I fit Mse around my pacing programme. I am on half hour activity level so I go away and do some housework, planning or cooking and then pop back here for a quick catch up. That's my excuse anyway
((((hugs)))) AgeandJo! Hope your horse is ok!Our days are happier when we give people a bit of our heart rather than a piece of our mind.

Oh dear
Now the hand has stopped hurting I am using it a lot more and I've discovered I've lost some of the flexibility in my thumb. I think I must have cut through one of the tendons or something
I can't form an L shape with my thumb and forefinger any more just a V. I hope it won't stop me doing anything
