Have you got recipes for these please?;) Sounds perfect to me! What sort of tomatoes and cheese do you use for the pizza?

For pina coladas I use 1 part white rum (I buy Tesco or Sainsburys own £9.98 for 1 litre) to 3 parts coconut milk, a blender full of ice and whizz up - just like an adult slush puppy :D

On the pizza I use a thin layer of passata, some mixed herbs, cheddar cheese, chopped ham and chopped pineapple. If I have any leftover chicken I'd normally use some of that with sweetcorn. HTH

Squares made for my patchwork quilt ~ 80 (only the "actual" quilting to do now :rotfl:)

Ageandjo - I hate it when that happens - don't know about you, but if I arrange something, then even if I don't want to do at the time, I would always do it as I have commited and don't like letting people down. (((((hugs))))) honey.

Moggins - If you find out where there's a pattern for Teletubbies could you let me know. Knitted Bertie, Percy and Thomas for DS last year and his little sis is now mad for Po. Would be a good Christmas Pressie.

Done about 5 loads of washing and ironing from the holiday and have almost caught up at last!:j
Have just attempted some tuna fishcakes from the Inside out Diet book which have cabbage and spring onions in them, have added granary breadcrumbs to mine as well! they look ok so hopefully they'll taste good!:D

have also done 2 weeks grocery shopping this morning as the cupboards were bare! first loaf out of the machine since I came back! the shop-bought muck OH was eating is dreadful!

I want to attempt sweet potato and carrot soup tomorrow if anyones got a good recipe?

Off for a little browse before tea!

    evening all,

sorry but once again rushed for time so had a skim over the posts. thank god it's the weekend so there are only four pages!

poppy, i absolutely love 24. have you seen all the series or is this the first time? I'm one of those that have been watching it since it started, i have series one and two in a box set, want three and four, but once i'm not a dfw i can afford it!

had a wee visit from the police last night about the little !!!!s in my back garden, they were very friendly and helpful. tho there isn't a huge amount they can do they'll speak to folks and tell them to stay out of other folks gardens etc. they also said it is ok to buy a big dog and feed it on small children, so long as the police don't know about it :T :rotfl:

am off out for a friends leaving party, he's going to edinburgh next week, and since i got my new job i'm gonna enjoy it as my celebration too, so i'm off to get showered shortly and start getting ready :j feels like forever since i was last out dancing!

hope you all have a fabby evening (there is a super party planned on the dfw threads!), if i'm on tomorrow it'll be rather late as i doubt i'll be sober enough to post before work, or at least i damn near hope so!

    big hugs to all xxx
