Goooood morning everybody :hello:
It's grey and dreary here today. Hope the weather is a little bit brighter up in north London where I'm going shortly for my cousin's party.
I have sent another text to Penny-Pincher to see if she's feeling any better, but haven't had a reply yet.
SweetPea - (((hugs))) to you and your mum, I hope she's better really soon.
anniebooklover - The Proms Guide normally comes out at the end of April. You can buy seated tickets from May (prices vary), or turn up on the day to queue for Arena or Gallery standing (£5 a time). Alternatively, during the advance booking period you can buy season tickets, half-season tickets, and Weekend Passes (all for Arena or Gallery standing). Depending on how many concerts you fancy coming to and when, these can work out cheaper than day tickets, but they also entitle you to join the Season Ticket Queue instead of the Day Queue. This can be a big advantage for various reasons, including under some circumstances having a better chance to be near the front. I'll explain further by PM if you like.
ageandjo - I hope your horse is OK (((hugs)))
Must go now, I need to get dressedand on my way to the station I need to drop off a large bag of stuff at the dry cleaners - they do 4 garments for £6 :money: so I save it up until it all needs doing!
Have a lovely day everybody

I posted it on the recipe thread Wizwoo for you all to enjoy.
Just got home from Mass tonight. Thought I needed some divine intervention tonight after the week I've had. :rotfl:This lady come up to ask me did I like her doll. It was so life like and it's name was Dusty. She told me she had bi-polar disorderand when she gets down it helps. Her daughter was about 14 and so protective of her. I have just looked it up
some people have it rough. We have a lot to be thankful for. I think she was on some meds as she went on to tell me I had a nice bottom
. I had a pr of jeans on so I don't know how she knew that.
Well...........if she says so.
I bought some boxer shorts for the boys xmas pressies. They were on special for $5 each. Normally they are $10. So I got DD to choose out 2 pairs each. It's a start anyway.
Ageandjo Hope horsey heals quickly & sis is much better.
Well off to have a bit of a surf. It's so nice to be back on my puter. :T
ByeeeeeeeDon't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.0 -

Thanks - of course what with my various outgoings so far in attempting to move house, it's actually not £12,039.73 any more (have spent £1,248 in fees and deposits to date!) but have been keeping that as an "offset" line in my savings spreadsheet so I know how much I really managed to save

Morning all and big hugs to everyone that needs them!
We're out this afternoon so my plan was this morning to get making bread - but that was scuppered by not getting up until after 9am! Have got loaves proving now so hopefully will have time for some nice bread at lunch. Making a standard loaf and some pain d'epi - a baguette which you scissor up before baking to make it look like wheat ears. It's the first time I've tried that - if it goes wrong there's alwyas the normal loaf!
Tomorrow we're off to see some Cold War jets at Bruntingthorpe with some friends - I think the Vulcan bomber was on the BBC Breakfast program this week -they are trying to raise money to keep it airworthy.
I found Stardrops yesterday and bought a bottle - been cleaning more than I have in ages lately!
Enjoy your weekend everyone! :beer:0 -
