    Good Morining everyone.
 Annie Poor old you, not only feeling ill but when the decks are cleared for action too, I know how frustrating that is.
:p Aussie, looking out of my window I can understand folk who emigrate, well at least someone on here's enjoying good weather.
 Pen-Pen, well get dusting then girl - wear them lacey little numbers

Drizzley Day. Bleagh! started the bread machine reasonably early, DH just dragged me away from this thread to move the cars as next door are having some landscaping done, and they have access around the back of our house. (Which I hate when the Monster Spawn bring a dozen of their dubious early teen friends around , through our garden... sunbathing's nerve wracking.) So the digging machines started at 7:30 a.m. .... nice.

Did loads yesterday, even in Mrs. Slug mode. Bought my micro fibre cloths at Lidl, and got started with those. Did a Lidl shop, so how come, with only seven items on my shopping list, and only two crossed off after the Lidl trip, how come I managed to have a full(ish) trolley, and spend £40 ?

DD stayed on an extra 5 nights after our joint trip down to my sister's, she even went home for spare pants; she goes to Mum's when sister drops by on Sunday to pick her up. She's going to help Sis with the twins & older neice while they stay at Mum's house near Holmfirth. Sis is staying there as BIL is off on buisiness trip to Taiwan. This trip has been hanging over their heads for so long without any clues from his boss as to when Sis will be on her own with a handful of sprogs it became Taiwhen?
DS is getting ready to leave home and live in town centre with friends, so if we ever lever DD back out & into her own place, we'll have the place to ourselves with just Puppy for company (mixed blessing as anyone who has gone through the nest flying will understand.)

ENOUGH of the burbling must go, my school planning needs my attention.

    morning all

poppy was it 24 you were watching? absolutely love it! only reason i still had sky, and i'll be getting it hooked back up when the next series stars...mum tells me keifer's signed up for three more series :j

well last night i had a very os evening, you'll all be so proud, i spent the night cooking! did a batch of pea soup all split into containers and frozen, did a chixkpea curry, kept one portion for tonight, others are in the freezer. also picked up stuff to try carrot and sweet potato soup which i'll do sunday/monday or summit. sainsbury had their buy two save £5 on chicken breasts so i picked that up, i put them into freezer bags individually and froze them too! freezer is looking well stocked and since i did washing up as i went along kitchen was lovely and clean when i got up this morn :D

then i sat down and made a new skirt for wearing out tonight and tidied up again and finally got to bed about midnight. all in a very productive night, and bizarely i'm not tired this morn...perhaps the doctor was right and it was just feeling unhappy at my old job that was bringing me down and making me tired

anyway have to scoot and get brekkie/ready for work THREE DAYS LEFT!!! (can you tell i'm excited?) however i have to face the scary company owner who has chosen this time to visit the store...wonder why

hope you all have a fantstic bank holiday (for those south of hadrian) and big squishy hugs to those who need or just plain want them!

    Was It Hannah Hawkeswell?

The Dales are gorgeous and the place we go, Settle is about 1 1/2 hours drive from where we are now. Holmfirth isn't attractive in itself, but interesting, Saturday is a great day to do Holmfirth, there's a W.I. market down at the Methodists church hall from 10:00 a.m -12:00 and they sell, amongst other interesting things, really good bacon butties for £1 each, we always plan to have tea/coffee there as its really sweet & old fashioned, I used to be part of that church congregation as well. Holmfirth also has four charity shops, a Longley farm shop (the farm is up Dunforth Rd. Just out of Holmfirth,) well worth going to the shop for slightly lower priced dairy products & their icecreams are well recommended. We used to go to the Farm itself for yoghurts by the trayful, I don't know if they still allow that, as it wasn't a shop as such. Whenever they had a new product on, they used to sling in a free trayful.

Hmmm, I'm getting tempted to go there after my bread's riz, this morning.
