Pink - She looks lovely, a real cutie and poser! I love your choice of Tabitha, seems perfect, Tilly is nice too - both seem to suit her. Have you tried calling the names to her and seeing which she responds to? She might just have a prefrence :D
KiwiChick - It does sound as though it's just needing time between the two of you. Are your children boys or girls? Perhaps doing something that's purely 'girly' together one eve, naturally including any of your DD's too. It'll be lovely for her to have another close adult female as she grows up, lucky her! With regards to a rabbit they're fairly cheap to keep, but vets bills can sting if you're unlucky. Your main expense would be lots of bedding, hay and some food. I would also recomend ensuring you get a 'run' for the rabbit so that if the children lose interest for a while you're not the one sitting guard while it gets some exercise!
Tootles - you sound just like me with a good book. I do tend to drag the end out sometimes tho just 'cause I don't want it to end!:rotfl:
Hi Savingstill hope your DD's resits go well.
Wow Elona! What fab bargains!!! See, while I was up the mountain I stood up and threw lots of good vibes in your direction ;)
A&CM Frustrating when they send you info on loans knowing you'll they'll turn you down isn't it. Feels like their trying to rub your nose in it - I know it's computer generated, but surely they could make their computers a little smarter!
Aussie lass (big hugs and positive vibes)- hope your surf helps you sleep a bit better.
Well, we've come back from our mini picnic up the mountain, and it was lovely. We had some of the quiche I'd frozen the other day, and some potato salad and HM cheesey bread - oo, and some HG cherry toms.
It was lovely up there.... laid back and listened to the wind rustling the leaves, the grasshoppers chirping (or whatever it is they do!) the sun felt lovely and warm, and there was a lush smell of freshly crushed bracken - now that brought back some memories I can't share!:p Lots of lovely blackberries picked again - and found some wild honeysuckle that I'm planning on 'rescuing' by takin a cutting of it next time ;)
I've taken a few piccies with my phone so if someone wants to have a nose at the lovely view I'll post them as thumbnails later.
Hope you're all having a lovely day,
    Kaz x
Ps, forgot to say that I hope the F/L challenge has gone well for you this week Snowy - I hear you've been v.busy. Will have a read of the thread when I feel less guilty about the state of my place!

The good wishes must have helped as I went to tesco - got a nice squashy ivory coloured bag :j :j

They had a sale on clothes and I got a deep blue silky crinkly skirt for £2.50 which should have been "20 and a deep brown skirt with lacy pattern inserts for £3!:j

Will try on skirts with plain top and let Dds decide whether I wear skirt or dress for the wedding.

your clothes sound brill and fab bargains, i might go the tesco's here in the morning for a scan, we are at a wedding next saturday and i haven't bought anything yet

    Kitten.jpg

Finally worked out how to post a picture! Phew!

So, here's a picture of my new kitten. She looks much bigger in the photograph than she is. We still haven't agreed on a name for her, so any suggestions would be really appreciated. So far the favourites are Tabitha (my choice but nobody else likes it), Tilly, Twiglet, Peaches or Poppy.

    Pink

ahhhhhh, she is beautifull and i bet she is spoilt?? i am going with kwickchick on this one, she looks like a very cute poppy to me :)

I have added two new pictures to my 300E webshots album one is a design for a card the other is for a design for a ring cushion, please do not look at the cushion, just at the design, we have to perfect making the inners..... the idea is that your wedding ring/rings are tied to the cushion and a 'little person' carries it, I have put a ribbon on the back so it can be held....... this a very much a prototype, the real thimg will be made in satin, or the fabric from the brides dress.....open to various ideas, using you lot as testers.....a suggestion that came from someone on OS.........the link to the album : Double click on the photos and they will enlarge.
