    Goodmorning everyone, again! :)

Catznine What a terrible thing to happen to your daughter...I'm sure you are both in shock. I hope she'll be ok and that they catch the moron who did this to her.

    Homer Good morning.

Snowy I hope the toy cars worked for you and you got some sleep.

Amanda With luck your yoghurt maker will arrive today. Pig winged indeed! :D

arnie&caseysma Welcome! I hope you make the right decison, remember you can always come on here and mull things over if you want to.

Aussielass My DH is an enthusiastic walker as well, so I can sympathise with you limping home. btw, kitty is a girl.

kiwichick Good luck with your recipe folder, the family routine planner sounds like a brilliant idea...we could certainly do with that here!

Lillibet I hope the weather stays good for your picnic.

ronankfan Enjoy your visit to the farm shop.

catowen Have a great time in Barnstaple.

poppycracker I hope your toothache is a bit better this morning...you made me laugh when I read what you're planning to have for dinner. I don't have a dog  , but did I mention I have a beautiful new kitty :j

ageandjo I'm glad you things are a bit easier for you today.

joannasmum It sounds like you have a busy day....good luck with the potty training.

twink You really have achieved a lot over the holidays, well done! You'll be going back to school for a rest.

tootles Enjoy your afternoon. Having looked at your pictures, I'm sure your designs for the craft fair will be fantastic.

moggins I'm glad to see you posting today. I don't know what happened yesterday, but it was awful to read that you were taking time out because of something someone 'said' on mse.

thriftylady Have a good time at the cinema!

elona I hope you manage to get your bag and your shoes, <<hugs>> for everything else that is going on.

Softstuff Good luck with decorating your weddings.

PP I'm glad you had a great holiday.

Glad I hope your back feels better soon. Let me know how you get on with the breadmaker, After reading all the posts about them on OS, I'm tempted to get one myself.

I'm not planning much in the way of Old Style today. It's the start of my week off so I'm going to have a lazy day, although I have stripped all the beds and done two loads of washing.

There isn't a cloud in the sky this morning so I might spend some time in the garden. My DS (12) is due home from scout camp this afternoon. He's been away for a whole week and I've missed him terribly...I'm really looking forward to seeing him, but not the pile of washing he'll have with him.

Off to play with my new baby now....I know I'm biased, but she really is the nicest natured cat I've ever known. I'll post a pic when I work out how to send the photographs from the camera to the pc. Might have to wait until Ds is home as he is much more technically minded than I am. :o

    Have a great day everyone!

Pink - it was from asda and £23 so not a great amount to pay out to see if I like it, there is space for it to live on my work surface so should be easy to use regularly :)

I'm now sat here with a cloud over my head just like the cartoons.
I knew I wasn't looking my best today, just so tired, but at the last hotel when I had just finished decorating the function room, I was challenged on my way out as to what I was doing in the hotel, and what I had in my bags... the implication was that I was some kind of thief

Time to get a haircut for sure

That's ok, I guess I am mildly amused nonetheless. It's just kind of the last straw this week really, I think I just look as beaten down as I feel right now.

    Afternoon :D

It's a wet miserable day here in SE London. I've been very productive though! Third and final load of washing (towels and bedding) is in the machine, I've done a big batch of washing up.

Caught up with my brother for a drink yesterday evening. He's on a summer placement for an IT company, and if he gets a job there after he graduates, his starting salary will be £26k  and I expect he'll be on megabucks before too long! I wish I had a talent for (and passion for) something lucrative :D

One of the neighbours took in a wine parcel for me yesterday while I was at work, so I went over this morning to collect it (didn't get home till late last night). Her husband has just come out of hospital after having heart problems - he does self-employed manual work, needs three months off work, and can't get loss of income insurance because he had cancer several years ago :( He looks wrecked, TBH :(

Need to cook up a batch of pasta, and then will be going out to a concert this evening at the Proms. It's being broadcast on BBC1 so you might spot me in the audience ;) (Don't know what I'll be wearing yet, as I've managed to get dirt all over the top I've got on at the moment  )

Catznine - I'm so glad your DD's ok. Without implying that she was in any way to blame for being mugged, it really DOES pay to follow the general advice about not using your phone in public and so on. A flatmate of mine once got attacked when she decided it would be a good idea to walk alone from a party to the nearest taxi rank at 3am in a dodgy bit of London. Everybody thinks it won't happen to them, until it does.

moggins - glad you haven't left us. I didn't see the thread in DT that upset you, but I hope you won't be driven away by idiots, whoever they were.

Welcome to the newbies, and welcome back PP!

Must go, pasta to cook :)

    Rzl xx

    Glad you've come back Moggins:T

OK, hubby has taken Spud off out for the day so they're both out of my hair:D

OK, I've cleaned & tidied, even washed down the paintwork & one of the dirtier windows:eek::p. I have washing out & I'm hoping the wind is stronger than the rain:rolleyes: I have prepped all the food, ready now except for finishing touches & laying out on platters nicely. I am sitting down for a quick cuppa & a hobnob then it's vacuuming & moping then off out for last minute bits & peices, need to make house look special as we obviously aren't going to get the outdoor piocnic tomorrow. Weather is so cold I'm beginning to think I should have made soup & pasties rather than salad & cold meats:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

A while ago I was posting about how to strip dye out of a table cloth. 2 lots of Dylon dye stripper failed. I finally gave in this morning & shoved it in the washing machine with some bleach, reasoning that even if it does rot the fabric in the long term I'll have use of it in the sort term which is more than I can do with it the green colour. Guess what? It's resisted the bleach & is still resoutely green:confused::eek::confused::eek: This damn thing is becomming my nemisis:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Just wish I knew how we're going to fit 10 adults & 2 small children into our small house tomorrow:confused::rotfl:Anyone got a tardis I can borrow please? I promise to be careful with it & return in good condition!
