    You are back :j :j

Taking another DD to look for stuff so doubt if I will ever get a bag or shoes.

Can visualise my ensemble - nice dress and jacket jauntily set off by bare feet and stuff in a see through plastic bag!!!

Big hugs to all who are going through things at the moment.

Hope the mugger gets caught and that someone he picks on turns out to be a judo expert!!

Can anyone explain why the weather is always foul when I have a washing mountain to get through?
Probably because it's only in foul weather that we want to stay in and tackle it ;) , hence it becomes "Mount Washmore"... in our house we also have the hand wash undies pile, cutely named "Miniundie Mountain"

Catznine, yikes for your DD and Hugs!. Hope she'll be fine, and also hope the police take action.

Hello to all others, I confess I only skim read... at work today and have 4 weddings to decorate... despite the fact I'm knackered and look like I dressed whilst asleep and brushed my hair with the hedge.

Hope those who have spare time are enjoying it today, the weather here is glorious, as is usual when I'm working :rotfl: Praying now for good weather tomorrow to car boot some stuff.

Hugs all round, whether you need them or not ;)

Well, I cant stop long, have to sort out the washing and rest up abit.

    Glad to be back.

elona - I like that statement about the mugger and the judo expert :D

Washing is now out and the next lot is on, the way the wind is blowing it should be dry by the time this load is finished. DD is not amused, I have just told her she has to tidy her room, she knew it was coming so I don't know why she is so shocked by the idea. I can't even get into her room to tuck her in at night. While she is upstairs I am going to whizz round the downstairs, then put some bread on. I have a movie and popcorn afternoon planned for us both when she has finished her room, it never takes her as long as her brother :D

Greengages are a kind of small plum Aussielass (named after Mr Gage who first discovered them I believe), They are greeny-yellow and very sweet.

Worcestershire is the plum capital of the world. You can get all sorts of unusual varieties around;)

Thriftlady is there a type of yellow plum? Only the baby tree in my garden has finally produced a crop (the previous years they all rotted on the branch) and they are not turning purple but are a sort of greeny yellow colour but they are the size of normal plums.

    good morning all :hello:

    I bought myself a BM yesterday :)
after tasting Queenie's tasty chocolate bread and her scrunptious strawberry tea-bread
made a basic loaf last night and it tasted lovely
so I'm going to try out some of the recipes on here soon

my back is very painful today, it's about 10 months since my last injections so will probably need to book to go in for them again :(
was really down about it yesterday as it is so debilitating, I can't bend forward at all and sitting for any length of time is painful too

trying to catch up with the washing today as I've had a busy week and not done much, 2 loads done and on line already, nice breeze today so should dry nicely :)

off to decide what to try next in the BM
