I used to have a cat called Daisy too, and my others were called Bluebell and Buttercup, but I can't think of a nice flower name for this little one. Mr P isn't really a catlover and he wants to call her Fluffy McNasty! :eek:

We had a cat years ago called Mr Nosy..... he was black and white........a red setter called Clemmie.......and a highland terrier called Ben.

was going to do a lot of shopping today and out for lunch but my daughter started vomiting alot (and its my birthday).

so shes been laying on the sofa all day very Ill and to top it all I got a phone call telling me my grandads got Cancer.

So much for a happy birthday, Im going to eat a whole box of milk tray now and get drunk .

Just got back from work and had a quick whip round!
DS2 out with his mates and OH and DS1 are out for the evening doing a disco at a 40th birthday so its peace and quiet for me!!!:j

Work again tomorrow(11 - 10) but hoping to find time to go to the carboot first - weather permitting:rolleyes:

Sorry you had a bad birthday...hugs!

Thanks for all the lovely welcome back messages. Really have missed you all...well...most of ya;)

4 washloads done and yes I have resorted to using the TD...once:o Have another 2 loads to do tomorrow as Im too tired to do it tonight.

OH heated up curry and rice from the freezer for dinner which was HM and he has just made me a ham and cheese toastie as I feel starved ...maybe it was the sea air..need to put some weight on anyway, so not worried. OH got a lovely chicken out the freezer for roasting tomorrow and popped to Lidls as we needed a few essentials.

Feeling shattered, so am off to have a bath and get in bed. Im so cold ATM-bought some funky thermal cotton pj's from Primark for £4 and have them on:eek: ...its August for goodness sake!!!!

so sorry to hear your news - I have some idea what it is like as it is my birthday tomorrow and we have just been told by the hospice that my Dad only has a few days left.(leukaemia).

DDs keep trying to cheer me up and I keep trying to put on a good front for them.
