My student grant came through today so that means 1 year and 1 day after my lightbulb moment, I have paid off just over £4110 of my total debt!! It's now under the 9k mark, which is well on track for being under 7k for my birthday. Dare I hope I could maybe even make the 6k mark?

I have just £17.50 left of my car to pay and I'm hoping to pay off my smallest cc debt by the end of the year too. This has actually really motivated me today as I never thought I'd get under the 9k mark, it seemed to keep going up and never staying under it!

You KNOW you can get to £6k for your birthday don't you As long as bad people don't keep trying to entice you out to do nice things that cost lots of money :rotfl:

I'll find a way... I actually just emailed a b&b to see how much it would be for 5 of us to block book it for 3 nights in June, but I think thats 5 of us in 2 rooms. :eek:

Great Minds, Maty, Great Minds.....!! That is exactly who I just emailed but I think they only have 2 bedrooms as you can only book for a max of 5 people... at least thats what I thought it meant
