Thanks Gill!!
I think I'm going to have to do an honest spending diary as I seem to be losing money again... even with mrS paying for my food when I'm with him. Just can't seem to keep track of it!! Only trouble is, not sure how honest I can be with myself. Please kick me up the bum when I waste money!0 -
I know that people swear by spreadsheets etc. but personally, I prefer my little notebook, at the end of each day I write in it every penny I spend, even the odd 50p on chocolate etc.
Hope it works out for you.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

Spent £8 on food today so £7 left for the week out of my grocery budget. Out of this I didn't need the packet of crisps and belgian bun for my lunch, or the 3 packets of cookies!! (these were buy 1 get 2 free though!) Did buy cheese and bread for lunches and mince to make spag bol which will provide at least 3 dinners for me this week.0

Haha I know! I'm justifying it by the fact that MrS feeds me so much now..... not that that is the right attitude I know. Ah well.0

Hmmm... spent £6.40 out of my weekly entertainment budget last night on wine, lemonade and chocolate....:o I did get 2 bottles of wine so one is still in the fridge for another day. Also just bought 6 pairs of tights off ebay for £9.30 inc postage as they are support tights and cheaper than buying them in town. So, that means I'm over my £10 budget so next weeks budget is screwed.
That doesn't even count the set of winnie the pooh books I bought for my friends unborn baby - a set of 30 in a gift box for £30 - and the whole set of true blood books for £10.
I just can't resist a bargain even when it has to go on my cc. Feel a bit sick and guilty now but my willpower just isn't that strong!

On another note, I really want to start growing things in the garden but because I don't know how I keep putting it off and not bothering. Me and my housemate have agreed next time it's sunny and we are both off, we will get in the garden and mow the lawn etc and hopefully dig a little flower bed along one side to make it nice for the summer.0

Spent the remainder of my combined grocery and spends budget in Sainsburys yesterday, so I have just 21p left in my purse. This would be great, if I hadn't overspent the other day.... I have just received the books I ordered and the winnie-the-pooh set is beautiful so I don't regret it.
I spent about £5 of it on deo, washing powder and decongestant, the rest was on foody bits that I took to work last night and to see me hopefully through the week. NO MORE SPENDING!!
Waiting for a cheque from Yougov (it's only taken me 4 years) but that is going straight to MrS for the remainder of the holiday balance and must chase my petrol expenses from my volunteering that I sent back in February... only £8 but it all helps.
I am on standby this afternoon but as it's gloriously sunny, I'm spending it in the garden reading a book and sunbathing. Lovely jubbly!0 -
Confession time:
£10 spent on a skirt and top for holiday, £15 spent on an easter bunny all in one fleecey thing and mr perfect boxers for MrS... all completely unneccessary.0
