Thought it was about time I started a diary to try and help keep me focussed and on track.
I'm 24, started with nearly 13k of debt just due to overspending and a couple of hiccups along the way such as scrapping a 2k car and having to get another one. I had my flickering lbm in November and am hoping to be under 10k by my 25th Birthday which is beginning of May. If I really put my mind to it, I can't see why I won't have paid off most of the debt by the end of 2010. I need to keep stop getting side-tracked by short-term pleasure ie clothes or holidays. I don't really do daily clicks or much ebaying so it will be a matter of sacrifices for a few months if I really want to get rid of these debts which are preventing me having adventures in life! In November I plan to apply for cruise ship jobs and obviously it will be much easier if I don't have debts hanging round me.
Over christmas I was really depressed, but having started counselling sessions and taken st johns wort regularly for 3 months, I seem to be regaining some sort of level balance emotionally.
Anyway, to start with, I've just counted my sealed pot and I have £21.08 waiting to pay into the bank on Monday morning and hit the first cc with!! I have just over £100 left on it, so hopefully I'll get that paid off this payday.:)

Thanks Beanielou!
Not loving my own company this weekend but a couple of months ago, I would have been in tears but instead I'm watching Drop Dead Fred and eating chocolate muffins I made:)0 -
Have just listed 5 items on ebay so let's hope they sell. Try and clear some of the junk I accumulate! Am I the only one who keeps stuff 'just in case'? I have a coat and a jacket I haven't worn for probably over a year yet I can't sell them as I might want to wear them in the future! I think this stems from chucking out too many clothes when I was younger and always regretting it later.
Have just counted the money in my purse and pad'ed it all, so first thing tomorrow I'll be taking my oodles of change to the bank and getting it paid on the cc!
Hope everyone is having a nice Sunday, I really fancy a roast dinner.
Nothing else to do again today, bored of it now! I suppose I should do some reading for my OU course in an attempt to not get behind this time but oh well.:o 0 -

Thank you
There is still a couple of muffins left if you want one? White chocolate chip too!
I'll hopefully be under 10k this payday, all things going well. DF by the end of the year may be a little tougher so I won't beat myself up about it if I don't, I will just readjust the goalposts.0 -
