On standby this evening till 11pm! But today I have more muffins to make for a work colleagues bake sale tomorrow, and I should crack open the uni books, and if I haven't been called then I'm going out for dinner for my housemates birthday. Luckily they have got vouchers so it should only cost £6 as I'll be drinking tap water!
Got 'homework' from my counselling session to think about too, over the next couple of weeks so hopefully I can still keep on the level balance and not tumble too far down the slope of misery!
I have my brothers visit in the Summer to look forward too as well, hopefully I can get some time off work to spend with him before he goes and sees some of europe.
Not much debt-busting today as payday isn't til Wednesday!0 -
Hi! Just noticed your diary! good luck with the debt busting! I was in a similar position to you £15k of debt at 24, 2 years on I have about £3k left to clear which I am determined will be gone this year!0

Hi PR welcome to my diary!!
Thats good to see.... for the last few years I've been worrying about it and getting stressed every now and then but not actually doing anything about it. This is the year I kick butt on my debts!! I don't want to be 30 and still be paying for my first car..... I want to be able to enjoy life and not let opportunities pass by because I can't afford them!0 -
Hi Psycho!
Good luck cracking £10k
Breaking Dawn will be in the post first thing tomorrow

Thanks True! Am really looking forward to reading it!:j I have a trip on my own to Paris on 11th April so might take it then and keep it to entertain me, if you don't mind a wee wait for it's return?

Haha let's see how near it I am in December shall we?? Thats a whole 9 months away so lots of temptation and nice things to be wanted in the meantime :A0 -
I realised this evening I still need to change my mindset. I went out for a meal which was £6 thanks to some vouchers, plus a quid for tip. I had £8 in my purse which I'd saved from my sealed pot/expenses/budget from last week, have a quid left. Now I'm trying to decide what to buy to 'treat' myself!! I should just put it in the pot, and pay it towards a debt but feel like I'm depriving myself even though I've just been out for a meal!!
Hopefully this is something that will change.... I only need to spend for what's necessary. I don't NEED anything today or tomorrow and I get paid on Wednesday.0 -

Hang onto it as long as you like mate, you certainly won't be able to put it down once you start!! Not sure how much of Paris you will see if you take it with you though :rotfl:Paddle #8 DFW Nerd #12840
