Just to reassure people, a trip to the vets is definately on the cards. We are definately having her microchipped (poochie is already done. It didn't bother him in the slightest) She's up to date with her jabs and really, I'm only taking her to the vets so she can have the mats from her belly taken off stress and pain free.
She had a big messy accident last night so we've just spent a fortune on a carpet cleaner. We were going to get one when we moved in to this house but we had to put other things first, we didn't know if anything was going to crop up unexpectedly. We're all sorted now so just getting what we need really.
Blimey, this cat is expensive :-) Worth every penny though!!Yaaay, I finally conned a man into making a honest woman of me. Even more shocking is that I can put the words "Happily" and "Married" into the same sentence and not have life insurance on my mind when I say it ;-)0 -

Yes Paddy, I'm sure that's what it was. She's ok now, and she used her litter tray last night. Made one hell of a mess kicking it out of her tray but no problem, took me about a minute to sweep it all up :-)
She's in a mood today. I left her in when I went to hospital. Poochie is really excited now I'm home. Glad that all's going well! You asked for pics of my rescue....I won't post them on your thread but they are on the thread "Maine Coon needs home" by paddypaws. Last page but one I think..... The rescue is the big black cat.

Kitty, now renamed Izzy, is booked in at the vets for her mats to be taken care of and to have a microchip in. She is also insured! Yay for Izzy!
