Inappropriate behaviour from a child in dd's class. How would you feel?

The same as you would teach your child not to ermmmm w@nk in public as it is not appropriate, you explain to a child that his behaviour of getting his kit out is not acceptable. You teach, they learn.0

why so youre quite happy to get the child taken away from his parents possibly have one or the other arreseted just to satisfy your paranoia
ITS NORMAL LITTLE BOY BEHAVIOUR
I didnt say take the child away from parents but this sort of behaviour often leads onto other things if not nipped in the bud and doing it to get a negative reaction (ie upsetting another child) is a bit different than a quick flash and both children giggling about it and sounds like not first time he has done it. Procedures are there to be followed and it may be something and nothing but better to be checked than left and something more serious come of it. Social services dont just remove children far from it they work with families for the child/ren to stay with the parent/s and it was more to ensure other children in the school were not left alone with him without an adult but also to protect him of being accused of something he may not have done as children are quick to say things if hes been accused before.0 -

Many schools are rubbish at instigating the CUSAB process as either they havent got a clue about it - not an excuse or they just choose not to.
There should be a chapter on CUSAB on your Local Safeguarding Children Board (LSCB) website just type in your area such as brighton LSCB into google then when on the site type in CUSAB and then you could have a read (be well armed for when school argue with you!!) or print it off and hand to headteacher or child protection lead in school.
but he's not is he? he's just being silly getting his winky out to make the kids laugh, a lot of little boys do this and is normal!! my little boy has a bit of a habit of doing it in the house when he's being daft, and i do tell him he shouldnt but he certainly doesnt have anything sinister or 'sexual' in mind when he is, hes just being daft!!The same as you would teach your child not to ermmmm w@nk in public as it is not appropriate, you explain to a child that his behaviour of getting his kit out is not acceptable. not quite on the same level as having a w@nk is it really? yes you can teach your child its not right, just like you teach your child to share and play nicely and not hit other kids but as we all know not always as simple as that.0 -

Really? You must be better informed than the rest of us on the ins and outs of other peoples relationships to make such judgments. Honestly do you really have to keep coming out with such sweeping statements? And yet again an undertone that the husband is hen pecked and kept in his place by a woman........is this what your marriage is like???Jakesmummy wrote: »but he's not is he? he's just being silly getting his winky out to make the kids laugh, a lot of little boys do this and is normal!! my little boy has a bit of a habit of doing it in the house when he's being daft, and i do tell him he shouldnt but he certainly doesnt have anything sinister or 'sexual' in mind when he is, hes just being daft!!
thing is we are not seeing the actions that accompany what this child is doing. Plus its not just a case of flashing his bits the OP mentions him touching other children. None of us know exactly what he's doing as we haven't seen it so I don't think it's fair to knock people who have raised the issue of Safeguarding children as they are just being cautious in their response.I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

My son, who's 9 came home so excited and was desperate to find out when he got Sex Ed. Why ... because he thought they were going to show him HOW TO have sex. This was the world to him.
Boys and it’s not just mine but seemingly his whole class are obsessed with sex and body parts. has been like this for a few years.
There are times even I get a bit funny by things my son does in relation to his Willie but that is boys.
To shout this is due to abuse(initial thread) is a bit strong, deal with it with the teacher about having a word in relation to him whipping it out all the time, nothing more , and let the teachers who are more experienced to see if they think there is anything more sinister going on.
By the reactions of some members of these forums we would have EVERY male household being investigated for abuse.
Just a side note on the woman/equality thing.
Just look at this site, and the responses a post gets and you bet it depends on whether it is a male or female O.P.
Yes there is a lot of abuse goes on at times in some relationships, where women get support (from this forum) but on the other foot woman also give out some abuse to men, such as " it’s MY child and I will call the shots" look through the posts and how many people agree with the woman.
We can’t have it all ways equality works both ways, not just when a woman wants it to.0 -
Has the OP mentioned what she meant by touching other children? wasnt knocking freebiequeen but if it is innocent it just seems over the top imo, obviously the school will know if its needed to bring this CUSAB into play as we dont know the full picture,0

Today, this child has flashed his willy at my daughter and I am quite upset
another child told her - not my daughter. equally I wish she would have told the teacher herself.
I guess I am posting here to save myself from getting worked up for the rest of the day.
Re looking over your initial post O.P, I wonder if your more worked up and festering because your daughter did not speak up. Sometimes this gets confused and it then seems like the complaint is the major problem rather than this.0 -
