I agree with everything your sayng Emmypenny, i just want to be married. I want him to be as excited as i am about spending the rest of our lives together. Richardvc seems to think i'm this spoilt brat who wants it all to be about me me me me me and i'm nothing like that. We are a team and even though i want us to do this together and its now got me thinking... if he's like this baout a wedding whats he going to do if i get pregnant? is he going to be excited about that or is he going to kick off like he is doing about the wedding?? I'm frightened to talk to him incase i scare him off.

I really empathise with you I really do but men just are not as excited about a wedding as we are. I shall tell you a story about my DH - we were moving house, and it was a big move, 200 miles north of where we were living at the time. He works offshore, so I did EVERYTHING, I found the house, he just had to sign the paperwork, I packed the house up, I sourced the removal company, all he had to do was find a home for his fish (big ornate tropical fish) for two weeks. Everything washed over him until 7 days before the move when he stood in our living room which was floor to ceiling with packing boxes and said:

"you know - we are moving in a week"

OF COURSE I BL**DY KNOW I HAVE BEEN PACKING FOR 3 MONTHS!!!!

He was a menace on the day because he was stressed out - I was cool as a cucumber because I had done all my stressing beforehand.

Blokes just do it differently sunshine, if he didnt want to marry you he wouldnt but he wont be as excited as you and if he was the bad news is he would probably be gay :rotfl: Good news is if you were pregnant he would probably be chuffed to death :)

Totally agree with you love my OH is EXACTLY the same!!!!

I can tell a story too.....

Christmas just gone bought him a archos 5 (around £250-£300) he takes it to work because you can put films on it games go on the internet ect ect last week he drops it about 6 inches off his work bench and cracks the touch screen. I was livid as you can imagine!!! The next day he txts me (we don't live together) and said Hi baby I've been onto your Amazon account and printed off the reciept for the archos, this annoyed me even more so I blew my top then (he didn't even ask if he did I wouldn't mind)

So he sent the archos off to be fixed on friday they got it today and said it won't be ready for 3 weeks as it will only get to france at the end of the week and they need to order parts for it. We go to New York a week on Saturday!!! I bought him the Archos for going to New York with! so as you can imagine I'm not chuffed he's not chuffed either and realised what a total moron he's been and so now he's been online and bought a notebook to take with us it's refurbished so not brand new.

MEN EH WHO WOULD WANT THEM!!!!

    Steph xx
