always worth checking out the annual passes for WDW they don't tend to cost much more then 14 day ones especially with current exchange rates plus you get discounts in the shops and restaurants with them and don't feel like you are wasting a day of your pass if you only do a half day there!!!
Also if you goto Magic Kingdom it's worth checking out the "Hidden Disney World" which you can find out about at Guest Relations...you can go on a tour of the tunnel system underneath the park!:hello: TTC since 11/090 -

Six of us plan to go to Florida for two weeks at the end of September and have sorted our accomodation in a villa.
But we need to book our flights! What sort of price is reasonable? Looked on expedia.co.uk who have just sorted me with a great deal to New York in March and their prices range from £400 to £600 each. We preferrably want to fly with Virgin.
Will the price for these flights drop as we get nearer September and should we wait? I have heard people getting return flights for around £200! Any truth in this?
Thanks0 -
Hi
I'm going to move this over to the Travel board where you should find other threads of interest to you and also get answers from the knowledgable people who inhabit that board

Its worth remembering that Disney changed all their tickets on 2/1/2005 so some of the information from previous visits will no longer be applicable. A lot of the Disney type sites are only now getting to grips with the changes in the ticket structure.:)0

Unfortunately these flights don't get cheaper nearer the time, it's best to book as early as possible to get the best deal. What the airlines tend to do is release the flights 11 months before departure with a limited amount of 'cheap' seats, once they are sold the other seat prices go up in tiers.
It is possible to get flights for £200 but you would have to book as soon as the flights are released. The best deal I have managed to get is £1200 with Virgin for 3 adults and two children to Orlando and that was over Christmas which is peak time, but i did book these flights as soon as they were released.
Have you considered an indirect flight? You could save yourself a bob or two that way, my parents did this last Christmas to Orlando, they stopped in Charlotte, they didn't mind the delay, but I don't hink it would be much fun with young children.
I would shop around before you book with Expedia. I have always found them to be expensive, try going direct to the airline website ie. Virgin or BA. Then do a search on this forum for a discount code etc for the website.
I have booked with https://www.phileasfoggtravel.co.uk previously. They did the really cheap flights for me or follow the links below and see what you come up with.

On the 'flightsflorida.com' web site above, click on their specials, scroll down the page about half way and look at offer (ref) no. 65. The 'child' prices are allowed up to 16 years old. normally it is only 12!

Good things come to those who wait......... but the best will be taken by those who got there first

Just thought of something else...... try this company, they are very competitive and I have heard some good reviews although I have never flown with them. You could get flights for under £300!

Although they fly to Sanford airport Orlando not Orlando international, the savings could well make it worth while!Sexkitten
