Shop around for flight through various flight search engines. We have been a few times with travel city direct and their prices were quite competitive. We usually travel in May and like you from Glasgow.
Beware if you get a cheap flight from them you will probably have to take the car hire as if not the price of the flights goes up. Found this all the time from them. It was swings and roundabouts if we took the higher flight price and our own car hire it usually worked out the same as their cheaper flight and slightly higher car hire.
Definately don't take the insurance !
Do a search for Florida villas in a search engine and you will get lots of villas to plough through. We have got a few good deals this way.
Good luck you will get something if you shop about .

    Hi

Going to Orlando in february and want to go to sea world. Will not be going to Busch gardens or Universal so don't need a combined ticket.

Is it better to buy in Uk or just get it at the gate or from some other vendor out there??

    Thanks for your help.

If you are looking for a villa this site is very good

    https://www.villas2000.com

they are all privately owned & you deal direct with the owners.

For a good forum try this

    Hi

We bought our tickets at the gate, they were running an offer on the day that we visited, of an upgrade, worth every penny. You get an escorted six hour tour of the park in small groups, you get to see/learn so much more than when you go it alone. It’s not cheap, but included in the price is a very nice lunch [no queues for any of the attractions] Fantastic day.
They also supply you with a poncho [which you keep] for the ‘wet’ shows, in reserved seating. On top of this they gave us a free ticket to visit the park on another day [that’s the money saving bit]
Go to the Seaworld website, and on the left hand menu, click on ‘Interactive programs’ then ‘park tours’ and look at the Adventure Express tour. I’m sure we paid less than the advertised price, but can’t remember how much we did pay, but I would highly recommend it.

Please be gentle and a little kind, as I've only got a simple mind.
  • I asked Andrea to make sticky a thread on Orlando just before the site crashed and unfortunately this was lost in the site shuffle. So hopefully we can start again with MSE recommendations for flights, WDW tickets, accommodation etc.

Having searched ALL the websites myself for WDW tickets the cheapest I have come up with for the new Ultimate 14 day WDW ticket is £159 from
Attraction-Tickets-Direct although I could have sworn I found them for £154confused.gif

    Perhaps you know better?
  • Found this site useful last year when i went to Florida.

    They sell cheap attraction tickets
Also give information on park opening hours, ride information ie if the ride is being refurbished. Very good site

Not a link still a newbie not quite sure how to do links as yet
  • Link worked fine for me, thanks and welcome to MSE :)

I'd definitely buy them when you're out there. Last time we went, our hotel sold tickets, and they cost LESS for a weekend ticket than the normal cost of a 1 day ticket!!

Cheapest car hire we found (by miles) was with Airline Network (https://www.airline-network.co.uk).

There was one other particularly good one but can't remember it now. It was recommended on MSE so I'm sure you'll find it somewhere - I'll post it if I can remember!
