We are going to orlando next month - we were going to get a Universal 5 day flex as we are going to do all on that ticket - but we only want to do Blizzard beach, Typhoon Lagoon, Epcot & possibly MGM - which is our best option:
1: Universal 5 day & pay on gate for Disney
2: Universal 5 day & a Disney magic ticket (which I don't quite understand)
3: or I believe there is a combi ticket that would cover both
basically, I don't want to spend a load on Disney tickets that will remain unused as we don't intend going back after this year( we are moving & won't be travelling for the forseeable future)0 -
If you take US dollar travellers cheques you can just use them as cash in shops so you don't need to exchange them at a bank. Debit cards give the best exchange rate. Most Credit Card companies try to get out of compensating you if a purchase goes wrong abroad. Check before you go if they cover foreign transactions.

Frommer's have a page about tickets for Disney attractions which might give you an idea of how much you'd be spending if you bought them individually.
Individually the prices seem to be $54.75 for adults going to MGM and Epcot and $31 for each of the two water parks and $43.75 and $25 for children at the respective parks.

Which of the universal parks do you want to do?
Busch Gardens, Seaworld, Universal studio, Wet and Wild and Islands of Adventure are all covered with the 5 park Flexi
Which shouldnt cost no more than £115 per adult and £95 for kids and this you can get into all parks for 2 weeks unlimited
Another option if you only want 2 parks out of the list is the 7day 2 park pass which is about £55 and £45.

Hope i have put this question in the right place...
WHERE TO STAY IN FLORIDA?
Need a 2 bed apartment in a hotel complex with lots for teenagers to do. Going end June 05. Saw marriott cypress harbour in brochures - but i think they have condos for rent in them so are you a fool booking this through a trav agent. How do you do this direct anyway as is recommended on this site? it is any good?. Any similar suggestions appreciated
Also any suggestions for a nice medium (3-4*) priced 'villa' in a beach (or very near beach) hotel with pool on gold coast or at least a nice areas there to chek out for one?Waddle you do eh?0 -
#245 - we are getting the universal 5 day flex - & I've worked out that we will need the disney magic your way plus 3 day pass - which will do 3 parks & 2 water parks - the 2 day doesn't include the water parks - but can I buy them at a disney kiosk or do they only deal with their particular park entrance fees - we also still got an old 10 day hopper but the disney shops here can't tell if there is anything left on them, they said we have to wait until we get out there0

We found last year it was cheaper to book a package than do it separate as the charter airlines tend to hike up the price of flight only or fly drives. But there is no harm in trying is separate but last year our best deal was a package with mytravel, but shop about as the exact same deal with firstchoice was £1000 more. Check out Expedia you'll get an idea of the hotel prices there. Also Tripadvisor gives feedback on various hotel etc which might be worth checking out.0 -

Hello All,
I'm going to Florida in 8 weeks time for a third time, but have one thing I need advice on. I want to buy a new digital camera (the Canon EOS 300D to go with my existing lenses), and assume it is much cheaper over there. However I need to get it on day one as want to be able to piccies in the park from the off. Can anynoe advise where I should get it from and any pitfalls I should be aware of.
Thanks,
Chirs0
