They have Discovery Cove at £139 and Discovery Cove Plus at £155. I don't know what the difference is though.

Discovery Cove Plus gets you 14 days admission to Sea World/Busch Gardens instead of 7 , but i'm not sure if there's any other extras apart from that
Same old same old since 2008

Time of year, lol, believe me they don't have Discovery Cove at £139 for July and August

Actually having said that, you can now do an evening trip to Discovery Cove but I felt it was really only suitable for adults in that it was dinner with entertainment and costs another £10 but you do get valet parking icon12.gif

Don't know if you've been to Seaworld before EdiLass but just in case you haven't ;)

having the 7 day pass - make the most of it! Go in the morning one day, in the afternoon another day and at night another day. The Shamu show is different at night to the daytime one so see both. Don't exhaust yourself/family by trying to do the whole of the park in one day - you've got plenty of time! :D

PS I'm going on Saturday! Yay! Going to do the relax thing tho not the parks (ooh and shopping of course ;) ) :j :j

I've just read all 29 pages of this forum and now my eyes have gone
I'm heading to Orlando in 2 weeks with parents, and my 2 children aged 2 and 6. The 2 year old will be 3 while we are there and cannot wait!
Any tips greatly appreciated. Ta ;)

Not to detract from what you might have learnt here but have a look at the UK Planning Boards on www.disboards.com.

And I want you to come back on this thread and tell us all about your holiday!

Just noticed the bit about a birthday, are you staying onsite at Disney as if you let CM's know about the birthday they will make an extra fuss and I believe in the parks the birthday child will get a badge as well ;)

    Thanks
We are staying in a villa at Davenport. Maybe you can help me - my daughter will be 3 during the trip. Under 3's go free into the parks - do i need to buy her one after her birthday?

Oh goodness you have me there! I would buy the tickets before you go when she is two??

Have you made plans on what parks you want to visit and/or tickets you want to buy?

As its a first time visit to Florida for us we intend to spend the entire time just "doing" the parks but if allowed I do hope to get some shopping done too ;)

As we are staying onsite in Disney I also intend to take full advantage of the extra hours both morning and evening and with the 14 day Disney pass along with the 7 day Seaworld will be able to combine both parks in the one day provided we can last the pace!

My 14 year has been well warned that a rest period mid afternoon will definately be slotted into the programme which she was quite happy with when I told her that late hours means some parks being open until midnight!

Not sure if I told you this but we have arranged an Illuminations cruise with another two families from US with dinner first so it will be nice to meet up with some seasoned Disney folk :D
