I see what you mean. I posted that index of threads back in January before the forums changed software and a few threads were lost and links broken.

Just back from Orlando, a few top tips for you:
We ummed and arrghed over what Disney tickets we wanted, and decided on a 4 day hopper ticket for each of the 6 of us. That ticket lets you in more than one park a day, unlike the basic ticket. Went to buy it from out hotel tickets lady, it was around $240 each (240 X 6 = 1440), then saw that a 7 day, non-hopper ticket was $211 (1266 for 6) saving us 140ish dollars. We bought that and on the 2 days we wanted to visit another park in the evening (for the fireworks show or electric parades) we just used an extra day off of that 7 day ticket, and still had 1 day left to come home with! Not that we can ever use it, but still saved money.
Only my daughter wanted to go to Universal on the penultimate day. Being 7, we didn't send her alone! I went with her and whilst this didn't save money, it was money well spent. At Universal and disney they have "Fastpass" lines, where basically you book a time later to come back to the major rides and queue jump. At Universal you can buy for $20 an any time, any ride all day long fastpass (Ithink they call it Universal express or some such). The famous Jaws ride, where your boat is attacked by the shark, had a 65 minute queue. We went round it twice in under 20! If you only have one day at universal, it is well worth it.
If our party of 6 had gone, I would still have only bought 2 passes, they are not named or anything and the people in the party that wanted togo on a ride could have taken turns and still saved hours of queing.
PICK UP EVERY COUPON BOOK YOU SEE. We saved hundreds of dollars! Breakfast buffets are HUGE and around $4, dinner steak buffets around $10 and we used dinner coupons to get 10% off ANY meal, the cashiers don't look at them, they just know that a coupon is worth 10% and discount it. That made breakfast $3.60 (£2). Generally, everything you want is discounted by at least 10% in one of those voucher books, including levi's and Birkenstocks, all the dinner shows, trips and restaurants.
If you can, DO DO DO book at least 3 months in advance and go to Discovery Cove. It is wonderful. If you don't know what it is, look it up! Swim with tropical fish, stingrays and dolphins.
My Mother in law insisted on bringing my father in laws disability car badge! I thought what a waste of time, how wrong I was! If you have one for any member of your party TAKE IT WITH YOU! You get the very best and closest parking at every park. It can be a 20 minute tram ride to the far edges of the car park on busy days, we parked by the turnstiles!

I thought It would be a good idea to have them on the front page. I've taken out the links that no longer work.0 -
Received an email from best4attractions.com they seem to be offering very good prices for park tickets.
Plus a free planet hollywood meal. They are also advertising available dates in July and August for Discovery Cove.0 -
Watch the prices of Discovery Cove from them though as when I went to book they had put them up to £155 for the peak period from £139. They did have availability when other websites didn't in July. Another website who advertised £135 said they had some but they were now £155.
In the end I booked direct through Discovery Cove website and while dearer than £139, it was cheaper than £155 and you can more or less pick the date you wantWorth remembering that the Discovery Cove ticket includes seven days entrance to either Seaworld or Busch Gardens.
I also got a leaflet through from Disney.co.uk who are now offering their 14 day ticket at the same price of a 7 day ticket but its still dearer than other websites
I did order my Disney tickets through best4attractions, filled in the website and within an hour someone phoned and booked them for me. Confirmation was through in a couple of days but not got the actual tickets yet.0 -
They have Discovery Cove at £139 and Discovery Cove Plus at £155. I don't know what the difference is though.0
