Thats my excuse and I am sticking to it! My plan is to keep it a secret until the day but not sure if I will be able to manage that
I can imagine how difficult it will be to keep it a secret , but hope you can as it will be a wonderful surprise for your daughter . I hope you'll both have a great day , i'm sure you will . It's making me long to go there again , but we've already booked to go to San Fran this month so will have to wait until next year at least. I'll just have to look at the video again although i'll have to skip past the part where the dolphin is pulling me through the water as I can't bear to see creatures suffering0 -

try again in a few weeks, they seem to release new flights as the demand for them increases. I'm booked to go from Glasgow on 11th August. Much Cheapness via Direct Holidays.
We looked at staying in a disney hotel, too as is was only a tiny bit more expensive, the cons out weighed the pros though, and decided to stick to the good old 192 again. If you can't say something nice - SHUT UP0 -
jnd wrote:On the subject of using a ticket to buy cookies, did you know that if you say at the ticket desk that you need to run in and buy something, Disney will swipe your cc and allow you into the park for about half an hour. If you're not out before that time then they'll charge you. That's cheaper still.
Interesting, I didn't know that. I'll not telling Mr FR that one though, otherwise we'll end up turning into Chocolate Chip Cookies :rolleyes:0 -
yeah nmealy - direct holidays are good - I went to Disney's Pop Century last year with them - ace time - hotel was great for 2.

My family 2 adults, 2 teenagers want to go to Orlando, Disney, etc in October 2005. We have been saving for a long, long time and hope it will be a great holiday for many reasons, not least of which is we will be celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary! We are not necessarily looking for the cheapest at all costs but certainly good value for our hard earnt money! We want to organise a flight, a Villa, a Car and some trips to Disney, etc.
Can anyone please offer us advice, (or where we can get advice), on getting best value for:
1. Flights
2. A Villa
3. Car Hire
4. Theme park tickets
Thanks in advance for any help you guys feel you could give. :A0 -
Here's a start, https://www.airnet.co.uk for hire cars, got a free upgrade promo if booked in April. Flights I usually go to BA.com, they have the facility to search 7 days either side of your chosen date, sometimes going a day earlier or later can save £££s. The price you get from BA is a good starting point to compare against other sites, found Opodo to be quite good for flights but best to check lots if you have the time. There is a magazine available listing loads of Villas in the Orlando area, not sure of the name Villas Abroad or something like that. The Villas are of a very high standard and don't think you will be disappointed. Worth comparing theme park tickets from the US at the moment with the £ being so strong against the $. October is very popular especially the weeks around the half term so you will have to some serious searching to get a good price for flights as a lot of the seats will have been booked up already. Good luck.0

The best work is the cheapest as the quality remains long after the price is forgotten0

When we went we booked the cheapest car possible, and at the desk I asked for an upgrade to a convertable for the same price,(mainly as a joke), he said "no, but, I can upgrade to something better," and he bumped us up 2 classes so we got a mid ranged pontiac.0

slight change of tack, but with the exchange rate being 1.879 US to 1GBP, should I hold out or buy dollars now.... was going to get $2000.If you can't say something nice - SHUT UP0
