Expedia.com had good rates for Disney last year which weren't available on expedia.co.uk0 -
I've just been on direct holidays and airtours websites and it seems they aren't doing Glasgow - Florida any more - is this true and if so who else flys Glasgow/Scotland - Florida. Its a bit of a bummer as I got an ace deal from them last year!

I think Virgin do a flight a week out of Glasgow
As I have to fly July I have chosen to go with American Airlines via Chicago and have booked flights and hotel separately.

Checked virgin don't fly from Glasgow - Manchester and London only.
Airtours intuige me as they are showing up on some of the flight search engines!
Another question - with travelcitydirect can you take the flight at the flydrive price quoted without taking their highly priced car insurance? Its a bit ott!

No you cannot do that now. TCD insist on their insurance being paid for when you book flight. This costs far more(for insurance alone) than the same car plus full insurance from other sites.
They have been reported to ABTA for this practice.0 -
TCD will quote you without the car at all though0

Wait until you arrive in Orlando and visit one of the many tourist offices. They keep a daily log of surplus hotel rooms in the area, at heavily discounted rates. You can go to the hotel and ask to see a room. If it is to your liking you can book or simply go and try the next discounted hotel.
Alternatively you can visit any hotel of your choice and barter with them.
Either route is not high risk as July is the low season in Orlando and there will be lots of rooms available.ANGER is one letter away from DANGER0 -

But for £164 more than their fly drive in my case.0 -
Reply for Funkmaster. Don't know your location but I am travelling from Glasgow (albeit a Monarch flight) direct to Sandford at the end of June, staying a Walt Disney World Resort Villa (3 bedroom)and got a car included at a much lower cost than Virgin. Travelled with Virgin previously and don't think many could beat their service but got my trip nearly half the cost with https://www.GoTravelDirect.co.uk. Hope this is of assistance.0

A useful site I found for maps etc was https://www.FLAUSA.com. They posted out a pack containing brochures and maps and no charge. Arrived only a few days after requested. Site has lots of useful info too.0
