Cant believe how cheap those PE fares are, £560 return for some dates in August, less than we have paid for economy, via New York Grrr. Be glad when the kids leave school.0 -
Hiya, I'm trying to book a holiday in Florida for 6 adults on the first fortnight in October.
Firstly - I've been quoted £349pp for 3 weeks in a 3 bedroom villa with flights from Gatwick from a member called 'Broadwaytravel'. (Contacting me because I posted on the 'can you beat my quote' forum)
This seems like a good price to me - has anyone ever booked with them? Are they legit?
Also, the total for this would be around £2100 then I would need to hire a car.
Do you think it would be cheaper to get a flydrive deal and then book the accomodation seperate?
Cheers.0 -
That is a very good price, and yes I have heard of broadway travel. If ou go to www.thedibb.co.uk/forums this is a fourm all about going to Florida and Disney, there is an advertisers form on there were spcial offers are posted, and there may also be some feedback about broadway if you ask.0

Broadway travel has a Florida website HERE, so you could check the prices there assuming your reply is actually from them and not someone using their name. I have booked a villa only through them for £349 in August, they seem pretty efficient but obviously I wont know until I get there.0 -
Just a quick one....does anyone know if you need to declare prescription medication when you check in going to America, or if you can just put it in the bag you're checking in?0

My DW took her migraine tablets in her hand luggage & did not declare them. There was no problem.
On the return flight she also had a tube of cream to treat a bite on her leg. She was told not to bother putting it in a clear zip bag, just to put it in the tray for scanning.
HTHGoing down the Oteley Road to see the Shrewsbury aces! :T0 -

it is recommended that if you take prescrption medictionwith you that you also take a prescrption and/or letter from the doctor in case it is questined, but you do not need to declare it.0

Florida car hire....I am getting myself all confused over the insurance part of things and so I'm struggling to be able to compare quotes. We need a small car, both myself and DH need to be able to drive it. Does anyone have any suggestions/advise. What extras on the insurance front should we pay for that won't come as standard.
ThanksI like to live in cloud cuckoo land :hello:0
