with Wal-Mart you can buy online and ask for it to be delivered to a local store, and pick it up from there.

Cheers, after a little playing I discovered they don't accept a UK issued credit card.

After speaking to a lady in a Florida Wal Mart what I need to do is...
    • Go to a store and buy a gift card
    • Text the gift card to a friend in the UK
    • Get them to order the item using the gift code I had given them
    • When he gets an email saying it ready he will text me
    • I go and collect the item from the store
    Easy!.... I hope!

Why not skip out the friend bit, and enter the giftcard into an internet terminal at your hotel or at the friendly cafe next to the Walmart?

Anyway, rules of both Visa and Mastercard schemes is that the retailer MUST accept any and all Visa/MCs irrelevant of country of origin.....its called a BIN range and the file is available from their acquirer......cant imagine Walmart wanting to get kicked out of that club.

Or buy the £72 Nokia 770 Internet tablet and use http://www.free-hotspot.com/index.htm in the Wally carpark.

Hey Moob:cool: take offence at my wife being called a loon!! In my day Loons were a pair of awful shaped trousers, only ever had three pairs.

    Or http:// www.ukdish.com
I find the Dish friendlier, but there is a lot of information to be gained from either site and time is the most expensive item in Florida!!!

Meanwhile i still do not have this blasted answerphone message!

PHILIPPA 36.. try reddington beach/madeira beach.st petes beach/pass a grille.. Clearwater and st petes villas are too far away from the beach area so anothner cheap option will be to book 2 rooms, they are all on room only basis anyway and you can ask for 2 rooms next door to each other. With teenagers i would opt for clearwater or st petes beach areas as they will be safe enough to venture out on their own to the shops, beach etc.
you can google for a map of the gulf boulevard area.

Anyhoo, in my mind, there's something up with folk in adult life who are infatuated with the Disney Corporation.
