Bloody Petrol Prices

117.9p here. We only have 2 Shell petrol stations in our town now, and they're both owned by the same people. We're always about 4p dearer than the next town. When there was a BP petrol station here, we were only ever about 2p dearer than the next town's prices.
My husband says he'll never complain about petrol prices being high as long as it means he still has a job. He'd rather pay more for petrol and have a job, than get cheap petrol and have no job. He works in the oil industry so he may be biased.
We saw my in-laws neighbour fill up his car with illegal diesel last week! They said he does it all the time.0 -
Its even more annoying when you see how much they pay in America for the same stuff!!!!!0

We have been discussing this at home, my DH cycles to the train station and then gets the train one stop to work. He is looking into electric bikes or adapting his own bike.
I take the kids to school 3 miles away but now they are 9 and 12 we might all get on our bikes to go to school. It will kill me mind, but needs must if it gets any more expensive!“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0 -

When I lived in America I was paying just short of $200 a month on medical insurance and there was still a $25 co pay to meet for each visit to the doctors. I know where i'd rather be now with all of my medical problems. I think I can manage a few pence extra on the car fuel tax, if we get to keep our NHS.0
